Mestiza es la unión de la música electrónica y el flamenco. Una vuelta a los orígenes  basándose en una estética inspirada en la tradición y el folclore español.

El objetivo es crear una nueva identidad que tenga como referencia la "marca España" así como ha sucedido con la fusión entre ritmos africanos, arábicos y latinos con sonidos electrónicos.

Tras más de 10 años pinchando por separado, estas dos djs españolas Belah & Pitty Bernad deciden unir fuerzas para ahondar en sus raíces y descubrir un mundo de sonidos tradicionales españoles a la música electrónica y llevarlas en sus sesiones a modo de experiencia para los 5 sentidos.

Now, with the release of the band’s long player just a fortnight away, WhoMadeWho unleash one final pre-album gift, as they enlist non other than Keinemusik co-founder &ME to provide his own resplendent interpretation of the album's title track UUUU the band released together with Rampa two weeks ago. One of the most in-demand artists in electronic music today, there are very few producers on the circuit who can lay claim to such an abundant slew of dancefloor juggernauts as &ME and we can't be happier to have him on board!

French producer Teho makes a swift return to Herzblut to follow up his excellent Hope EP from May this year. His latest work sees him team up with fellow Frenchman and huge talent Tran, who's own music has been described as oscillating between minimal and melodic. Making this partnership a perfect fit. 

Their KOTO EP sees Teho & Tran submerging us in trademark emotional and powerful soundtracks, enhanced further by their use of the wonderful sounds of the Orient. Lead cut Asakusa elegantly displays its power through its pulsing one note bass and opening broken beat pattern. Its liquid flow sees it gather intensity before the Eastern strings echo in its breakdown. On the flip we are treated to more of the same, this time lead by Kabuki's beautiful flutes, warped bassline and plucked string melody. Perfection.

Energy 52’s Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in electronic music. Known for its infectious melody and its strong impact on dancefloors around the globe it charted multiple times around the world and won countless awards. Now, 30 years after its first original release, Superstition Records issues a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. 
The third part in the series features remixes by Tale Of Us and Paul van Dyk, some of the most prolific electronic producers and DJs. First up are Tale Of Us, one of the biggest names on the dance circuit of the moment. Their “Renaissance Remix” was first released in 2018 and has already become one of the most popular remixes of Café Del Mar.
DJ Kid Paul and Paul van Dyk were close DJ buddies in the early Berlin Techno scene, and played around a hundred DJ gigs together, all around Germany and Europe, before they moved on in different directions. Now nearly 30 years later Paul van Dyk finally got the chance to remix the iconic Café del Mar. His  XOXO remix slows the tempo slightly and employs crisp percussion and deep, pulsing bass while still maintaining the out-and-out exhilaration of that epic breakdown. Originally released in 2021, the Paul van Dyk remix appears here on vinyl for the first time.

When reflecting upon the early roots of trance music in the early nineties, a key pioneer of this music we love was the duo of Jam El Mar and the late Mark Spoon. In 1994, they released the single 'Find Me', but little were they to know that the record's B-Side would go on to become one of the most cherished of all time - the iconic Odyssey To Anyoona. 

Coldharbour Recordings is not only delighted and honored to welcome the legendary figure of Jam El Mar to its family of artists, but in doing so, we are also incredibly proud to introduce Odyssey To Anyoona to the modern-day generation. 

Following a summer visit to Jam's home city of Frankfurt, Markus Schulz struck an immediate rapport and chemistry, and embarked on rekindling the magic of the original piece which is beloved by so many. Surrounded by an energetically hypnotic 140bpm outer layer, the core remains intact, harnessing the beautiful soul of angelic and emotionally driven tones. Debuted to rapturous appraisal at Nature One, Germany's leading dance music festival, it created a moment for both Jam and Markus to share for a lifetime.

And to compliment the energy of the Markus Schulz vs. Jam El Mar outlay, maestro Jamie Stevens teams up with Uone for a tantalisingly, laid-back, deep house affair; oozing class whether played early in the morning or the evening.
