With the reopening of clubs and festivals, Avidus present their debut EP for Oddity, loaded with tracks ready for the dancefloor.

The lead track,  Prometheus , is a weapon for the peak time of the set. Full of catchy groove, a synth hook that characterizes their productions, which slowly adds tension to the construction of the track, leading into a break full of melodies and chords that will give you goosebumps.

The second cut, Clavigo , is characterized by a melody that resembles an arpeggio, throughout the whole track, with darker stab sounds appearing and complementing the development of this one. The pads and chords that characterize Avidus appear during the break, filling us with emotions throughout the rest of the track.

Wanderer's Nightsong" is the next one, where the identity of Avidus is reflected instantly from the first play. A very catchy synth, crunchy sounds, and percussions that play between each other, creating an
atmosphere of a danceable trip. Always adding their beautiful textures and chord progressions further in the track, giving a breath of fresh air and emotions.

For the remix duties, the French brothers, Betical, approach reworking  Wanderer's Nightsong” into a breaks track. Using elements of the original, reworking it into their own version and adding new synths and elements that create a beautiful remix.

Label favourite Naeiiv returns to Récits de Mars with 3 new tracks, plus a remix from label boss Several Definitions.

Kicking off with the title track 'Incorrect Shapes', a wobbly edged arpy driver, wonderfully layered, and full of drive, this solid gem packs a punch and is heaving with emotive vibes.

'Appliance Hunt' keeps up the energy but takes us darker, as this moody melodious soundscape makes its impact, while 'Ascencion' brings in the light, with its uplifting pads and bouncy production.

Rounding off this release, label boss Several Definitions makes his mark on 'Incorrect Shapes'. Taking things trippy with its clever effects, where uplifting flavours meet dance floor dominance. A throbber!

PREMIERE : Naeiiv - Appliance Hunt (Original Mix) [RECITS DE MARS]

German artist @reyou and Ukrainian DJ and producer @aikon_official have joined forces on new single ‘Rain’, out 30th July on Disco Halal.

A haunting, hypnotic electronic oddity, ‘Rain’ combines wandering synths with sombre breakdowns and delicate vocals. It marks Re.You ’s debut on Disco Halal, while Aikon dropped track ‘Fusion’ last January as part of the label’s ‘Singles Club’ run of releases.

Re.You also recently remixed the Aikon single ‘Coming Back’. Hailing from the small town of Ulm in southern Germany, Re.You is an esteemed DJ and
producer with over a decade in the game. More recently he dropped three-track EP ‘Is This Love’ and collaborated with Robert Jankovic on single ‘Push Me’.

A relative newcomer, Aikon has been making waves with a steady stream of acclaimed releases over the last couple of years, dropping records on labels such as Exploited Ghetto, Monaberry and Sweet Music.

‘Rain’ is an engrossing track that marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between two electronic talents.
