Deep House Athens Mix #88 - Jay Fase

Friends, what a special set it was for me...

Performing on a stage that I designed and built with all my friends from the Oe-aa-sieS at Afrikaburn has been an incredibly special experience. We worked so damn hard to create such a beautiful space with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. And the response from the crowd was AMAZING OMG !
I've never felt so much energy from people, with smiles on their faces, dancing to the beats.

And that encounter with Ash (https://www.instagram.com/ash_smit) ... Wow, what a drummer ! Watch him play at minute 26’ of the video on YouTube (link below) ! Many people came up to me at the end of the set and asked if I had planned for him to jam with me. The answer is NO ! That's what makes Afrikaburn such an incredible and unique place. Ash was carrying his drum for the first time on the playa and was just attracted by the sound of the Oe-aa-sieS. We connected through the beats and had to play together. It was meant to be, and such an honor. Thank you so much, Ash. Let's do it again soon !

We're proud to present our new Anorak Podcast, released by Mathias Winnfield. 

A talented artist-producer and dj from Turkey, member of the Selador, Beatfreak and Timeless Moment labels, we're delighted to have been able to collaborate with this kind-hearted man, who has an unconditional passion for electronic music. 

Strongly influenced by funk and blues music, which he prioritized when he was younger, Mathias Winnfield then explored the paths of electronic music, from which he developed his own universe. 

We discovered this artist almost 3 years ago, and it was love at first sight. His well-paced, dark and punchy tracks immediately won us over. When you listen to Mathias Winnfield, you'll plunge into an atmosphere full of sulphurous darkness, where percussion and treble are the masters of sound. The melodies are as catchy as they are impactful, which will spice up your wild evenings as much as your various journeys. 

We're delighted to introduce you to this artist. We'd like to thank him for his kindness and dedication to the Anorak project.
