"Can't rain forever" is the new single by Remì Genovese. An instrumental piece, inspired by a true story, that of a person of good intentions like many, who is going through a period of life where she gets involved and seeks her redemption. Will she find it?

“It can't rain forever” is a very common saying that is used to build courage or to encourage others in particularly complicated and stressful moments. "It can't rain forever" means that the difficult periods of life cannot last forever, that the obstacles that are encountered are destined, sooner or later, to disappear as quickly as they appeared.

 

“It can't rain forever” is part of a much more ambitious project. It is a concept album consisting of seven tracks that musically represent seven "emotional splits" of contemporaneity. Remì Genovese, Sicilian composer of African origins, paints seven "musical retables" investigating and mixing personal themes and current affairs, autobiographical narration and social reflection. The noble matter of this album comes directly from the tradition of the electronic House, but is constantly hybridized with Ambient, Afro and Indie influences, resulting in an extremely eclectic and personal genre. The thematic alternations, the sound contrasts are the building blocks of a real narrative, symbolically significant, which traces the most important phases of the composer's life: the Afro-European origins resonate in a warm and deliberately exotic beat; the elegance of the flow is that of the best night clubs in the Italian capitals; the rhetoric, on the other hand, is baroque, it is entirely southern.

il SIGNIFICATO DI QUESTO BRANO ''MONOTONY'' , composta da "singolo, unico" e "tono", si capisce chiaramente che un tono solo, sempre uguale a se stesso, è monotono. Una giornata con un sacco di cose ripetitive da fare, oltre che essere banale, è monotona,  ma  “c'è una grande consolazione nella monotonia. Le abitudini servono a cullare gli animi che non hanno nessun altro abbraccio che li riscaldi. Il mondo si ripresenta sempre uguale, non è troppo doloroso, non aggiunge sofferenze inattese, non pungola con inspiegabili desideri.” con l'aiuto di qualche synth spero di esser riuscito nel mio intento colorare questa monotonia che provo !

MONOTONY

Imagine a sound journey that takes you to the paradises of the mind: this is precisely the mood of my new track. This track is a unique emotional experience, a journey from which there is no return! The topic is addressed through the narrative power of music and deals with a very hot theme in life, often emotional. It ranges from the need for peace and spirituality to the very importance of life. What is in paradise? We already know hell. "All human beings want to be happy; however, to achieve such a condition, one must first understand what it means." Here it is, my musical story, note by note. The intro represents the entry into a wonderful and unknown place: it’s good vibes that describe the first steps of an imaginative exploration. You let yourself be carried by this delicate positive wave, encountering happiness incarnated in someone or something unexpected. The more you look around, the more you immerse yourself in this dream called paradise, rich with breathtaking soundscapes, populated by all kinds of animal and plant species. It is a world where the four elements (earth, fire, air, water) express their full potential: it is the fifth element that unites them all and goes beyond the heaviness of matter as you have always experienced it. But above all, with the possibility of sharing this experience. You feel inspired, happy, lighter than ever before, more delicate than ever before, more joyful than ever before. You discover that you can fly, ride the vibrations... It was easy, wasn't it? It was just a matter of wanting it, and up to here, up to the second minute, we have arrived. But exactly at 2:20 minutes, something happens: an unsolvable doubt, a difficulty in accepting all this beauty. At 2:20 minutes, you enter a limbo, a vortex of thoughts: our inner demons. The drums accompany the journey, until at 2:58 minutes, the awareness arrives that it is normal to have doubts, to have uncertainties. But if we remember well, in this journey we were not alone, and even if we were, we were in our paradise.
