Song very dear to my heart, written for my grandmother who has dementia. Before having to move into an assisted living home I moved in with her to be closer and help out. It was during that time I finished this song and most of the writing was done on her piano which I would play during her lunch and before her afternoon nap. The song is about a young girl learning the difficulties of love and youth but instead of being discouraged is reminded to continually open her heart and live a life full of love by her grandmother.
