Stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma of the vocal cord forced me to face impossible choices: accept my fate, lose my voice forever, or fight. I chose the fight — 7 rounds of Cisplatin chemo and 36 rounds of radiation.

There were moments I thought I wouldn’t make it. Moments I wanted to give up. By the end, my throat was on fire, and even now I’m still healing. But through the pain, the Green Fire carried me. I believe it saved me.

Extra special thanks does not sum up the appreciation I have for my wife Sophia and Daughter Olivia. Without them, there’s no way I would have made it through and come out the other side in remission.
