Meet Remo, the unstoppable force behind the dancefloors of Southern California. From the early days of rap music to the rise of techno, Remo's passion for sound has only grown stronger. As a mixtape collector, DJ, and promoter, he has immersed himself in the vibrant underground scene of Los Angeles.

In 2008, Remo found his way into the emerging dubstep scene through Pure Filth Soundsystem. With their legendary Tuesday night sessions, dubstep took root in LA, with artists like Mala and Kode 9 gracing the decks. This led to the creation of BASSFACE, a party that shook the city with its thunderous bass. Remo and other residents showcased dubstep and other bass-driven music, solidifying their place in the SoCal scene.

Amidst the chaos, Remo also co-hosted in-store events at Dr. Freeclouds Record Shoppe, a hub for the rave community. Together with his DJ family, they shared their prized collections in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by good food and craft brews.

In 2016, Remo and his husband pioneered a new event called Bears Cubs & Beards, held at The Eagle in Silverlake. For over three years, Remo served as the resident DJ, creating unforgettable nights. Their final event, Out Of The Woods, marked the end of an era in November 2019.

Today, Remo continues to hone his craft, releasing mixes on platforms like Mixcloud and Soundcloud, ensuring that the beats keep flowing and the dancefloors keep moving.
