quick example of the Kollatz patch's modulation possibilities w/ a limited setup.

held arpeggios from Keystep get quantized by uScale2. 
output A (raw quantized) drives the bass oscillator.
output B (harmonies) drives both Rings and the lead oscillator mixed in later.
the Keystep gates Peaks, which provides two repeated trigger streams used as input and strum on Rings respectively.

the Keystep also clocks Pepper.
the Kollatz patch provides the pitch shift for Rings/lead from its main output. binaries are used for PWM on the two x-4046 oscillators, for AM modulation on the lead, and for cutoff modulation on the bass.

a six-sided dice for which string to play, a 20-sided one to determine which note on that string.
i came to the venue with 48 notes, and 52 more were added by people as they entered.

short requested demonstration of the sync mod on my MS-20. i have the MG in LFO mode controlling OSC2's pitch. all you hear at first is hardsynced OSC2. no filtering.


MS20 Sync

recorded live @ DePlayer, Rotterdam, this was done with 4 record players fitted with custom electronics. each record has a shifting one-note drone (i believe i used D, F#, A, G#) that gets turned on and off by a magnetic sensor. the magnets for the sensor ride on top of the record players platter - the circular movement being used as a sequencer. the final installation will have 12 vinyls - a complete octave. more info on remork.blogspot.be.
