Remote Emissions was founded in 1997 by its host, the Lotus Queen; and has endured to become CJSW 90.9 FM’s longest running show devoted to the many sounds of drum & bass, jungle and some of the newer incarnations of bass music. The show has become a radio broadcasted institution for bass enthusiasts. Airing live every Friday night, Remote Emissions offers a slew of styles to enjoy and international guests are often known to hop in and drop sets when in town for gigs. Never forgetting to show support for fellow locals and Canadian talent, Remote Emissions supplies a platform for DJs and producers to showcase their work or promote their events.
