The player embodies an update assistant whose job is to update the phone. Only problem is : the current OS, OS9, is not so happy about being deleted and replaced. After learning that the update will kill you
too, you will have to team up with OS9 to try and reboot the system in order to avoid the update and survive.

The people of Hamburg are associated with traits such as modesty and coolness. The same can be said about the music scene of Germany‘s second largest city: While there is a lot of buzz in the media about cre- atives being envious to the capital, the music scene, especially in the electronic fields, has been thriving here in the last few years. Hafendisko, the Hamburg based new sub label by hfn music, reknowned for their re- leases by Trentemøller and Kasper Bjørke, now puts an end to Hanseatic understatement: “hamburg elektronisch” is a new compilation series of awesome electronic beats from the river Elbe, the first installment focu- ses solely on House music. The 20 tracks of this download-only com- pilation, among which are three exclusives, not only feature old masters like DJ Koze and Lawrence, promising newcomers like Smallpeople und Wareika, but also showcase the most important melting pots of the Hamburg scene.
The new drive of the city is mostly accumulated in two spots: Smallville Records, the first of them, proves that the classic record store still can be of relevance, no matter how much discourse about releases and pro- ducers is now going on in digital networks. The store is small, but run with knowledge and passion. The people there not only curate their own Smallville parties all around the city, but also run an offspring store in Paris and several great labels: “Smallville” (featured here with tracks by Law- rence and Smallpeople), the vinyl-only imprint „Laid“ and, of course, „Dial Records“,the most-famous electronic label in Hamburg, because of its unique melancholic approach to techno music (check out Isolée on this compilation). On top of that, people who help there at the counter also run their labels like RvdS (whose “it’s”-platform is represented here with „A Walk On The Moon“) or book great parties like the “Dear” nights at the “Ego” club - the second epicentre in Hamburg at the moment.
With the “Ego” in the outskirts of the world famous Reeperbahn the city finally has a great techno club again, in addition to the „Baalsaal“ and „Neidklub“. Its owner Solomun also runs the booking agency and label “Diynamic” in the same building. The label already released nearly 50 records in quite a short time and thus is featured heavily here. Apart from Solomun check out Stimming, DJ Phono and H.O.S.H. The latter is also responsible for the ever-growing “Grünanlagen” Open Air parties who usually have an awesome line-up, although they are free.
Apart from other important concert venues like the „Uebel &amp; Gefähr- lich“ and all the nice bars of St. Pauli between the Reeperbahn and the Schanze quarter, at the end of the night the Hamburg scene still meets at the Golden Pudel Club at the harbour. Despite some difficulties it is still going strong and uncommercial after more then twenty years. Not only most of the artists mentioned before run parties here, but lots of the other labels in this collection as well like Liebe*Detail (Wareika, Lo- vebirds), Dérive (Christopher Rau) or Mirau (Tensnake). At the Pudel so many different people and music scenes engage in creative friction. This multitude of styles will be covered in future parts of this “Hamburg elektronisch” series that will also be released on CD. Cause hanseatic understatement is over.

Max TenRoM was born in Toulouse (south of France), he started learning piano and Jazz when he was a child and never stopped since. After the piano he turned his focus to synths and drums, he started to dabble in creating hip hop and electronic instrumentals.
Today, Max TenRoM try to be a live performer and a producer full time. He plays live performances with machines, synths and drums. His productions are recognizable by melancholic mélodies, with minimal rhythms, for deep and smooth tracks. Max TenRoM has influences from many genres and this is clearly felt in his music.

Electronic dance music, melodic house or techno - simply sorting Paji into one of these genres would not do justice to his musical uniqueness. Since his first EP, released in 2013, he created unmistakable listening experiences from a symbiosis of classical and traditional instruments as well as synth- or DAW-generated electronic sounds.
Now, in 2019, things have changed, been stirred up and the contemporary dancefloor is not necessarily the main point of reference anymore. Paji's album released on Katermukke goes beyond anything he's ever done, sports different influences and – especially in tunes like „Oraman“ - pays homage to his musical upbringing rather than referencing the next peak-time sensation.

It's no coincidence that the album bears his name “Paji“: titles like "Intoku" lead the listeners to his oriental roots. On the other hand, Paji shows his musical
cosmopolitanism and love for contemporary, melodious dance music in „Wild Flowers" and "Virtue". A special highlight is the collaboration with his long-time friends and companions Tube&Berger, which resulted in a mystical groovy track : „Raw Water“. With the Outro "Yggdrasil", which means as much as "world tree" or "where everything comes together", the musical circle closes and the album finishes, as it began - with an audible and perceptible journey into Paji ́s world of colorful music.

It's evident that this album brings more to the table than just computer generated loops catering to the most basic needs of what makes electronic dance music floor functional.
Each track is a thought out composition in its own right; all eleven of them combined can make up as a single masterpiece debut perfectly defining Paji's distinct style and approach to create music that’s suitable for the club environments, car rides, sofa listening sessions as well as, strolls in the nature.

The WOH Lab family is getting bigger with the new «Between US» project.
enven though is new, it’s a long time story between WOH crew and the member of the duet Between Us, because it’s Cebb and Sandy Perrellon !
The featuring was expected a long time ago, and the result is worth waiting for.
The two partners that had developed a mark in the biggest techno years in the south of france especially 
with their Barlive residence, deliver us a first promising maxi, and announced several dates in live
particularly the «anîmé festival» organised by WOH, Between Us will play live alongside Barem, Miguel Campbell, Nhar or The Hacker...
Their track ‘Renato’ is a techno anthem but with a disco vibe! It grooves, it turns, it’s prog and it has already proved to be a crowd pleaser on many dancefloors!
‘Drawing the Sun’, however, has a darker atmosphere to it. Now close your eyes and imagine it’s 7am in that famous ‘warehouse’ near the Montpellier airport… A proven recipe: a powerful bass, soaring synths and new wavey vocals! Back in the days!

La maison WOH Lab s’agrandit avec le nouveau projet «Between Us». Bien que nouveau c’est une histoire de longue date entre les membres du duo Between Us, puisqu’il s’agit de Cebb et Sandy Perrellon ! La collaboration était attendue depuis pas mal de temps et le résultat valait le coup d’attendre. Les deux comparses, qui ont marqué les grandes années techno du sud de la france, avec notamment leur résidence au Barlive, nous livrent un premier maxi prometteur, et annoncent plusieurs dates en live avec notamment le festival anîmé organisé par WOH aux côtés de Barem, Miguel Campbell, Nhar ou The Hacker…
Renato est un hymne techno mais «disco» ! ça groove, ça tourne, c’est progressif et le track déjà testé en soirée a retourné plus d’un dancefloor…
Drawing the sun, nous plonge dans une ambiance plus sombre. On ferme les yeux, on s’imagine à 7h du matin dans ce «fameux hangar» proche de l’aéroport de Montpellier ! Une recette efficace : basse puissante, synthés planants et vocal new wave ! Back in the days !
