Remute (live) at MAYDAY poland Nov 10th 2011

Just found this in my archive:
A recording of one of my very first gigs... in 2002 - at Hamburg's famous Golden Pudel Club. :)
I remember i was very nervous before this gig. I was 18 years old, still in school and absolutely not experienced in the music bizz.
Just had my first 12"-record 'Hypnoconsole' out which created some buzz and introduced my alter ego Remute to the scene - first gig requests came in, some great reviews too. Great and exciting times! 
One day I got a request from two cool DJs from Hamburg - Unique & Cranque aka Pelle Buys and Bastian El-Zhobi. They organized parties at the, back then quite small (about 50 people max!), Pudel club and wanted me to play - wow, what an honour for this young nerd I was! :)
So I grabbed my Yamaha SU700 Sampler, my Nord Micro Modular and a cheap FX unit and went to the Pudel - had the pleasure to meet original Pudel founder Dr Norbert Karl(what a great dude he was... RIP) who took away all my stage fright by getting me a good Astra-beer (or two, four, six, eight,...?) and introducing me to this strange but cool place the Pudel was.
I was ready to rock!
The place was packed (as I said... about 50 people max!), the sound system was about the to explode, the vibes were unbelievable and awesome and I was happy. 
The music I played was quite different from the stuff I am doing today - somehow more raw and unpolished... I just couldn't afford better technology, :)
That was my first Pudel experience - some more followed.
I really hope this cool place will re-open soon!

As you know my previous DJ-mix here on Soundcloud dealt with catchy computergame-music from the past and the present.
Now it is all about the crunchy tunes of the demo- and crack-intro-scene (uhm,...you'll know their work if you played pirate copy games in your childhood) of the 80s, 90s, 00s and today!
These guys and their work is just amazing and deserves more attention from today's 'dancemusic-scene'!
