Remy J is a record producer and singer-songwriter. He started his journey into the music industry at the age of nineteen and Remy’s debut promo single “Won’t Be Very Far” led to his first industry award win at the annual Voice Independent Music Awards in 2007. 

His early influences started with James Taylor and then pretty much the whole Motown repertoire. "Jazz amazingly inspires, excites and scares me all at the same time. Country and folk tell great stories, and bossa nova is my high school crush, the cheerleader kind." Remy's sound is a mix of folk, soul and a tinge of pop.

Remy has worked with Vanilla Sunset Music, managing co-writing/producing projects with various artists in development across the globe. "I write & produce songs with the fervor of hitting listeners in the heart, not the head. But then again sometimes they turn into math and that's where you strike an ideal balance."

Currently on tour with Narmi, Remy produced the pop-folk artist's debut EP under his songwriting-production unit, Dream Rocketeers, developing the chart topping single, “Make Me Whirl”
