From Sao Paulo (Brazil) Vini Pastori shows us his talent in this great release. With a clear commitment to Indie Dance his three tracks promise to charge energy through dance floors around the world. "Double Feeling" is the name of this work where the psychedelia of its melody plays a fundamental role and develops together with the energetic bass throughout the track. "Amoeba" shows us a more melancholic feeling with a synth that keeps the tension constant. The third track "Interlude" reminds us of classic electro combined with current sounds. This eases this masterpiece to be remembered in our minds. In the last track of this beautiful story the incredible Italian producer Aldebaran creates the magnificent version of "Double Feeling" filling it with power and majesty to complete a great magical work. Our sixteenth reference is interpreted as a great piece of quality.

Every now & then a demo lands into our inbox and shapes the future of the label. Julian Koerndl's track 'Messiah' did just that and there's more to come from him later this year.
Julian has been honing his craft in the studio for the past year as has been a prominent name in the electronic underground scene kicks things off nicely with his original mix of 'Messiah'. The full-on festival vibes shine through, as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords and original vocals sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth.

Making their debut on Somatic are French duo Mozaik. After outings on such labels as Eklektisch, Sapiens & Moblack, The boys have created a rework full of tension from the word go, developing a unique style; consisting of dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic fusion of genres that perfectly fit in any kind of club or festival.

Up next and also making his debut is Matt Klear. Matt caught our attention earlier this year with his signature old school 2 step sounds brought forward into the 21st century. The groove and melodies are the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow and creating an air of sophistication.

Team work makes the dream work… Young UK talent Sahar returns to the ISOLATE family for another wonderful electronic excursion. Following ‘The Getaway’ on the label’s last ‘Mutations’ collection, and the beguiling ‘Different Days’ EP last year comes ‘Soul Work’. 

Four explorative pieces that take us off to vibrant, faraway places; each cut reveals more and more about the rising talent who broke through late 2019 on Nein Records… 

‘The Distance’ sets the tone with swaggering breakbeat prowess and huge swathes of atmospheres. The scene set, the title track swoops in and sweeps us off our feet with layered vocals that gradually open out and develop throughout the track. Deep, pulsating, cosmic and just a smidgeon of shoegaze charm, it’s the sound of Sahar really refining his sound and signature. 

‘Hindsight’ follows a similar route as Sahar’s falsetto vocals glide over the mix in a mesmerising way, literally elevating the dance and whisking us off to destinations beyond limitation. Last but not least ‘The War Of Art’ ensures we remain in Sahar’s unique universe until the very last beat. Dramatic build ups, epic synth blasts and a rolling sense of musical thunder, this won’t just arrest your soul but your attention, imagination and passion, too. 

Soul work is the whole work… Sahar has gone many extra miles here.
