After developing a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJ’s in his home country, Cesar left Chile to begin touring across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the pursuit of launching his DJ career.

Dee Montero is a lifer. He’s the former Mambo Ibiza resident who at the end of 2017 received Pete Tong’s Essential Tune Of The Year on BBC Radio One for the string-fuelled, epic end-of-nighter ‘Halcyon’, originally released on Solomun’s acclaimed Diynamic imprint. And he’s been busy ever since with various eps including ‘Pangaea’ and ‘Azure’ on Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, ‘Shadows’ on All Day I Dream with Newman, and also the scintillating ‘In The Wild’ and ‘Headspace’ featuring Meliha on Anjunadeep. From Asia to America and everywhere in between it’s all been about the music for Dee. Performances in Australia, India and Dubai have been interspersed with US tours and appearances at Burning Man on the Robot Heart and Carl Cox’s Playground stages as well as summer shows in Ibiza including Hï with Joris Voorn and Nic Fanciulli. In 2020 Dee launched his own imprint Futurescope bringing in fellow musical alchemists Patrice Baumel, Fort Romeau, Lauer and Newman for remix duties. The next step will be an artist album released this coming summer, which play to those deft melodic touches, twinkling synths and positive peaks. There’s also a perfectly timed release called ‘Maya’ doing the rounds right now, and a remix from Rodriguez Jr which aims for even bigger, higher heights. As well as forthcoming eps on Renaissance and Anjunadeep later this year Dee’s next serene new release ‘Farlight’ will continue the upward electronic pressure into summer 2022. These are exciting times for an artist with Dee’s attention to detail and there are so many sonic terrains still left to discover…

Dee Montero @ Melodic Therapy #149 - Spain

Hello everyone and welcome to PFG. As is customary now as the year draws to an end, we are proud to present our selection of the best tracks of 2022. 

What makes this collection so good? The fact that all the music has been selected by our wonderful community of like minded music lovers from around the world. In the year we all came out of lockdown, this mix is even more special. 

We have carefully chosen three top class artists to deliver this work to you, not only have they had an outstanding 2022 individually, they have had a brilliant impact within our group too. From mixes to artwork, to promotion to live gigs, our DJs jumped at the chance to compile this stunning opus. 

First off the blocks is Nathalie Henriette, who with the backing and trust of her best friend Harry Lemon, has taken 2022 by storm. Gaining not one but two headline gigs at ADE, as well as top nights in other countries and online guests for PFG and her own Exultation show. 2023 is going to be massive for her.

Aubrey Fry has had the year of his life musically and personally. When John Digweed closes every show on his January tour with “The Loop”, subsequently releases it on Bedrock, and then works with Charlie May and Alex Banks on remixes. And then to top that off, has no less than FOUR tracks on the ground breaking Quattro 3 compilation. Wow indeed!

Last and by no means least is Chris Scott, of the legendary production outfit Lexicon Avenue, the main man behind the awesome Forensic Records marque. 2022 saw him play his first post lockdown gig in Hungary, amongst many friends. The first full FR party in Newcastle with D-Nox as headliner, and meeting up with PFG as he played at our very first official pre-party before John Digweed in Manchester.

Finally a special mention goes to Harry Lemon, for kindly mastering the final mix, and Aubrey for this brilliant artwork. We do hope you enjoy, these tracks selected by you, mixed for you. Thanks again to these three wonderful human beings for their time and dedication not just now but all through 2022. We will be back for more next year, ENJOY!

Hey everybody! We are really proud and happy to share this mix at the end of a big year that was 2022!

The year has felt like many years in many ways with the rollercoaster of challenges as well as highs.
Musically we were able to travel and build and expand our Meanwhile brand, and amongst that find new inspiration for the music we love.

Our intention is always to connect with the cosmic within us to be the bridge to manifest the sound that comes through us.

With that in mind, we wanted to bring forward a deep and introspective journey for this mix that reflected and resonated with our path as both artists and music lovers.

We really wanted to do something different; our intention and feeling was to create something timeless that listeners will want to keep coming back to… a listening experience more than a pure dancefloor set.
Most of our mixes these days being label owners and producers contain a lot of the freshest music we have access to which is always exciting, but for this we wanted more of a journey over a wider span of time and to present a flow that remains deep and reflective, with timeless tunes that fit no matter when or where they were written.

Of course there is some fresh stuff there from our labels and ourselves, as well as a few edits we have made especially for this mix.

We hope you all enjoy this journey; we poured our heart and soul into it and we are honoured to share this as the last 333 mix for the year that was 2022.
