It was friday evening, the oficial first day of carnaval at Rio de Janeiro. Arpoador Beach was a sea of all kind of people: sellers, foreigns, families, and local people too. The sea that day had the caribien blue color, as the friend we met at the beach told us, it was totally special because it didn`t happen for a long time. 
The rocks at the end of the beach were all covered with people, whose were waiting for the sun to go completly down, so they would applaud this nature show.

Quanto riso, oh, quanta alegria / Mais de mil palhaços no salão / Arlequim está chorando / Pelo amor da Colombina / No meio da multidão. 

It was the end of an Carnival block at plaza Paris in Rio de Janeiro. The band start to play this music and everyone starts to sing along with enthusiasm.

So many things happen that day that was almost impossible to believe the experiences we had could fit in one single day. And we were so lucky to be in the beach in the end of the day, witnessing the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen with a bunch of musicians playing drums and all that energy and excitement affecting everyone around. It was the first day of our trip and at that moment we just realize we were such privileged people. So we thank.

We are all explores of the world, that’s why we keep registering all life manifestation, and as the written and the photography, the sound is also a very important form. The sound teach us to really hear, it have a strong power to renew our memories and give us inspiration to imagine stories from it. Here I decided to share some sounds I collect around me.
