For our 16th EP we welcome Ljubljana, Slovenia based producer Alex Ranerro to the ever growing PIV family. The 'April Fool's' EP comes as a deep orientated and on-point four-track work from Alex that channels the same versatile spirit he delivers on all of his latest releases.

Parsec is a name many are becoming familiar with, his own 'Inter Records' saw its first release in July with Parsec behind the wheels of the killer 4 track EP 'Vortex'. Followed by the first of Inters V.A series alongside quality artists such as Mehlor, James Cox & more. With releases on highly thought of labels such as Hedzup Records, 4Plae Records, Habits & Standalone Records, he is firmly planting his sound to the world.

Parallax opens up the EP, A gritty roller with a razor sharp edge and suspenseful break.

Shimmer proceeds with no let up on the groove. Bounding Parsec's signature bass and a soothing backdrop of pads.

Expand, again carries on the energy. Swirling pads and the tight percussion give this track a euphoric timbre.

Mancini matches Parsec's style with an addition of some classic acid sounds. Stripped back and grooving, he rounds the EP off with a bold statement.

PREMIERE: Lucio Agustin & Parsec - The Return [DPE]

Jordan Strong returns to Uniting Souls Music for the slinky after-hours ride of "Shine Down." Hot on the heels of "The Tribe, The Hive," the previous USM release from the Los Angeles-based DJ/producer, "Shine Down" is a hearty dose of flowing deep house mixed with a captivating touch of Italo disco. Simmering pads and spacey vocoder action lay over a prominent bass line and punchy rhythm kit. Echoed handclaps, disco toms, and cool electronic piano chords add to the track's dance-floor appeal. It's potent stuff.

The remixes are varied and equally cool. L.A.'s SAAND (Dilate, Sol Selectas) creates a psychedelic interpretation that wouldn't be out of place in the dark backroom of a late-90s Bay Area underground party. Pacific northwest veteran Michael Manahan (Hunt & Gather) delivers a crisp, insistent take that reveals layers and cosmic vibrations throughout its runtime. Lee Houser (Proper Slap, Filter Music) — the Seattle duo of John Lee and Simon Houser — remodel "Shine Down" into a lush and hypnotic slice of classic deep house. And then Jordan Strong returns with his Beachcomber Remix, offering a bigger sound accented by a rousing 80s-style guitar solo. Another stacked, quality release from Uniting Souls.

Next up on our DOMUS Music presents mix series we have our good friend and Dublin boy Andrew Azara. Andrew creates up lifting euphoric high-octane dance music inspired by his love of classic & modern House music. The boy from Dublin, started young, learning to DJ at aged 17, more than a decade on and he's honed his skills and his 2019 hit record 'The Piano' track kick started his status as one of the new names to watch for 2020. Andrew's energetic and unique cutting / jacking style has gained him prolific support and recognition from some of the biggest names across the scene from Eats Everything, Josh Butler, Dennis Ferrer, ANOTR, Dimmish, Luca Donzelli, Chris Stussy and much more. With forthcoming releases on Rendr records with Demarzo & Daniel Mesiter remixes, the young producer continues to DJ around europe and his hometown of Dublin and does not seem to be slowing down for the Irish native anytime soon.

Welcoming the Dutch Duo Kreutziger to the imprint they supply three percussive, swinging hypnotisers.

Lead track KRKVIBE is formulated of strict, tightly cut percussive elements and wobbling chord stabs it rolls on and on from start to finish.

Chi Cho that resembles that of the industrial berlin club sound. Moody and serious but still energetic none the less with a euphoric vocal underlay.

Total 90 follows on from track two with similarities on the timbre front but holds its own unique elements, Like the sweet open Hi Hit which teases the ears popping in and out at various intervals.

Mateo Dufour is on remix duties for this EP and its say to say he hasn't held back. Completely flipping KRKVIBE on its head and unveiling this eccentric, groove-riddled bouncer that will have no trouble getting into peoples record collection. A truly joyful track.

We welcome Alex Field & DIGIT97 to Orange Records for a huge 4 track EP, Color Scales. Bringing their signature sound to Orange Records with this solid four tracker of robust rollers that will test the limits of any system they're put before.

The opening track Color Scales is going to a huge track for the clubs. Color Scale opens the release with a groovy bassline surrounded by lush pads and chords, merging to an energetic peak time groover.

In The Mini Mall comes in strong with its seismic basslines, twisted synths, drums wizardry and the kind of percussion that's guaranteed to work on dance-floors. 

Fool To Your Love comes in two versions. The original mix is a deep vocal cut for the early hours while the club mix strips back the melody to focus on the rolling bassline and the energetic percussions.
