This piece took me only 10 days to record from start to finish. I set out to make a creepy Halloween song using my Roland keys and electric and acoustic guitars. For the solo stuff I set out to use my violin bow to create the eerie atmosphere, but it has been a long time since I used it so I had zero luck making that happen. Enter the Sound Stone. I bought this thing last year around Christmas (you can hear it in use on my first song this year, January's "Scatter") and decided to put it to use for the creepiness. It worked out very well in that capacity. I bring in my slide in the middle, using it and the Sound Stone together for a couple minutes, before I ditch it and go full slide guitar....all in real time! I'm hoping you will find it a fitting soundtrack for Halloween, although it works well on headphones for just listening. Watch out!!! A Black Cat is about to cross your path.
