Back on Trax a dance floor heater straight from the lab, it’s studio producer extraordinaire James Hurr who returns to Toolroom Trax with – ‘Right Now’. James Hurr himself has been a part of the firm for a minute now, with a handful of releases on both Toolroom and Toolroom Trax such as ‘Love Together’ with Tasty Lopez & ‘The Revival’ with Lizzie Curious, along with spots on Toolroom’s popular House Party album series.

After signing off 2021 with a superhot collaboration with Toolroom’s founder Mark Knight and vocalist Laura Davie on Mark’s ‘Bullets Vol. 5’ EP, James Hurr kept up the energy up by kicking off 2022 with the huge club weapon on Toolroom – ‘Get Up’. Now, James returns to Toolroom’s club focused imprint label with ‘Right Now’, a bumping House groove with a spacious arrangement and distinctive vocal melody that has become synonymous with James Hurr’s production styles. Label favourite James Hurr makes his welcome return to Toolroom’s Trax imprint, this time teaming up with British DJ, producer & radio presenter, Anton Powers, who makes his Toolroom debut and singer-songwriter, Tasty Lopez, for their brand-new single, ‘That’s It’.

With releases between them on some of the most critically acclaimed labels in the scene including 3Beat, Perfect Havoc, FFRR, Love & Other and All Around The World, over 160 million streams, countless sold-out shows across the globe at the likes of Tomorrowland, Creamfields and Amnesia & Ushuaia in Ibiza, this triumphant trio prove they have more than enough skills to deliver a dancefloor weapon!

Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to present Storm EP, the stunning new release from Argentine producer Alan Cerra, featuring two compelling originals—Storm and Shadowed Echoes, alongside a dynamic remix from New-York based artist Nadav Vee.

The release lands on August 8th, bringing together progressive grooves, melodic emotion, and peak-time energy in equal measure. Alan Cerra has quietly become one of the most respected rising names in the melodic and progressive scene. Known for his sleek, groove-heavy productions and emotive atmospheres, Alan has released on acclaimed labels such as Siona Records, The Soundgarden, and Mango Alley, with support from global icons like Miss Monique, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Guy J. His ability to blend musical sophistication with dancefloor function is fully on display across both original cuts on this EP.

The title track, Storm, is a hypnotic roller built around rising tension and expansive melodic layers, while Shadowed Echoes dives deeper, exploring more introspective textures and intricate rhythms.

On remix duties, Nadav Vee—an artist known for releases on labels such as Plattenbank and Silver Joe—injects Storm with a lighter, bouncy edge, pushing the track into day-time territory while preserving its emotional core.
