The Renegade DJs highly anticipated follow up studio compilation “Shock Therapy” has finally arrived.

For those of you familiar with the Renegade DJs, their debut mix received critical acclaim and subsequently they were awarded best mix for 2008 by World DJs Inc (as judged by Derrick Carter et al).

The Renegades seamlessly blend the old and the new, fusing classic and soulful house accapellas of years gone by with some of today’s most cutting edge hard dance bootleg’s. The end product is an attack on the aural senses and 80 minutes of depraved mashed up madness.
Their brand new mix “Shock Therapy” wont disappoint either.

The mix starts off on the more techy and electro end of the hard dance spectrum, allowing the listener time to settle in for the ride with minimal Renegade intervention. Things start picking up after track 5 (Olly Perris’s take on Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ “Waiting for You”) and from then on out the Renegades drop it like its hot, building the foundation tracks from driving Tech Trance to peak time Hard Trance, layering and looping samples and accapellas, adding a cheeky edge to a carefully thought out and well progressed set.
