Having survived the dreaded year 2020, we enter 2021 with a new hope and a brand new release as we welcome Hydro & War back to the fold. Our 26th offering is their Utopia comeback after almost 2 years since the release of the critically acclaimed 'Lateral Thinking' LP.

As usual this is a really well-rounded release. The A side ‘Detroit’ sees them joined by their long-time friend and collaborator, Mateba, for a deep, more musical excursion. The flip side is an unapologetic heavier, darker vibe to destroy the dancefloor!

Renegade Hardware has been a catalyst for Drum and Bass music, by not only representing future sounds of the genre but by keeping mindful in paying respect to its roots. REFLECTIONS is one such project. Giving listeners a walk down that old school feel of DnB, bass heavy, soulful, jungle beats from producers such as Loxy, Stranjah, N-17, Ink, Alix Perez, Aspect and more. Constantly pushing sound, championing new talent and ideas. Continuing the collaborative project started in 2018, the long-awaited Watermark Volume 2 is here.

Amoss & Fre4knc join forces once more, to deliver another release demonstrating exactly why the first volume was such a success. This combination of producers consistently deliver their own, heavyweight sound, with ‘Question Answer’ and ‘Confront’ being no exception to the rule.

The pair are also joined by Swift for the menacing collaboration ‘Face Reality’.

Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2009, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, through Skankandbass Introducing we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

SNB077 comes from Russian newcomer Danila Pershukov aka Untrue.  Born in Siberia he began his production career with his father before relocating to Moscow in 2018 to launch his solo project.   The move has proven to be fruitful with recent releases on Fokuz, Occulti & Warm Communications now complimented by his debut on Skankandbass Introducing.  On SNB077 he displays the versality of his sound with stellar liquid offering ‘Only You’ coupled with heavyweight cut ‘The Secret Pub’.
