Horesementality - The Horsemen: Loxy & Ink - original Hardware family. Together they spawned a style and sound that would eventually come to epitomise Renegade Hardware. Instantly recognisable, it's roots are firmly placed in the world of drums and unbridled darkness.

Along with fellow Horsemen cohorts, the likes of Gremlinz, Skitty & Phobia, they have managed to keep this unique sound well and truly alive and their unwavering vision has been solidly represented by this incredible collection of tracks.

Be it the Unrelenting march of Philth & Agman Gora's 'The Void', Universal Project's sleazy groove on 'Dog Pound' or new skool wonder kid Voltage's effortlessly rolling 'Born Again', this music delivers - and in fine style no less. And as you would expect, there's also appearances from The Horseman themselves on 'Serial Killa' and 'We'.

”As so many great schemes do, it started with a conversation in a pub. After several sporadic releases on Diffrent Music, including his renowned 2013 debut ‘Tongues’, label boss Dexta wanted more music from Fearful. One thing led to another, and suddenly an album was in the works.

The result is ‘Interference’; a body of work that is reflective not only of the personal idiosyncrasies and aspirations of its London-based producer, but of an artist who has truly been set free of expectations.

Harnessing his own inbuilt need to defy convention, and looking to influences such as classical game soundtracks, experimental mastermind Amon Tobin, and the brooding tones of Akkord and Lorn, Fearful has crafted an album that’s unpredictable yet cohesive, and definitive of his aim as an artist.

From the menacing ambient opener ‘Rocinante’, through the glitchy techno of ‘The Traveler’, skewed drum & bass of ‘Pulse 0’ and ‘Through The Mist’, to the roaring drone and pounding metal-inspired drumwork of closer ‘Gold To Dust’, it’s an album that demands full attention and repeat listening.

Nowhere is this free-roaming but pull-no-punches attitude summed up better than the title track. Building through eerie, twisted atmospherics — samples of electromagnetic interference, which can be found throughout the album — it clatters into a domineering breakbeat, before collapsing into a guttural, tribalist techno roller.

Where much of dance music draws on repetition, the concept of ‘Interference’ is simple: progression. Whether that be changing motifs within tracks, switching genres within the album, or developing upon Fearful’s own artistic strengths, it’s an idea never more at home than on Diffrent Music, and we are very proud to present it.”

Coming off the back of his well received ‘Swims’ LP and the more recent Ram Records release, the CNVX EP showcases his production abilities as a producer on the cutting edge while using a sonic palette of yesteryear to devastating effect.

The tracks having heavy support from DJ’s and producers across the board including  Bailey, Doc Scott, Storm, Total Science, Krust, Mark System and label boss Kid Drama.

The track ‘Sumi’ was featured in one of Kid Dramas studio mixes with no tracklisting and had people guessing for a couple of years. Well the wait is over, Cactus EP drops on the 15th of April in all of your favourite outlets.

Hailing from the North East of England, Tyrone first appeared in Metalheadz in 2015 on Jubei's 'True Form EP, with the duo following that up last year presenting a full collab EP containing the anthemic 'Stabs'. 

Now it's time for Tyrone to flex his solo powers with the 'Lunar City EP' - a tantalising collection of tracks that span several sub-genres retaining an impeccably high quality throughout.
