Founded in 1995 Renegade Hardware has been at the forefront of pioneering the techstep and neurofunk sound and is regarded as one of the most influential labels in Drum & Bass.

With a history expanding almost 30 years, the label was the gateway to some of the scenes leading artists of today, such as Loxy & Ink, Chase & Status, Friction, Noisia, Spor, Audio, Phace, Calyx & Teebee, Konflict, Prolix, to name a few, gracing its historic back catalogue.

In 2016, after more than two decades at the forefront of the scene, Renegade Hardware announced its closure. The label's final chapter was marked by a series of releases and farewell events that brought together fans, artists, and industry insiders to pay tribute to its legacy. 

Fast forward to the present, and with a complete reshape, Renegade Hardware returns with the highly anticipated remix album “From The Vaults”, which features an eclectic mix of future artists who have reimagined some of the most iconic tracks from Renegade Hardware's historic back catalogue.

Entering the flip side of this double A side release is Future Cut’s classic ‘Horns’ - A staple track in the Renegade Hardware Discography. Much like 'Messiah,' 'Horns' has seen previous remixes from notable artists like Dylan and Gremilnz & Overlook. Now, the exceptionally skilled and consistently impressive NC-17 steps in to bring 'Horns' up to contemporary standards. NC-17’s rendition transports listeners into a captivating, rolling universe that seamlessly melds with the core essence of Future Cut's original masterpiece and the Canadians distinguishable sound.

With these first two exceptional remixes setting a high standard, Renegade Hardware takes you on a journey - “From The Vaults”.

'From The Vaults' is a tribute to Renegade Hardware's 30 year history and ongoing influence in the Drum and Bass scene. Each instalment in this series showcases standout remixes of classic tracks, bringing a fresh perspective and modern twist to the label's iconic sound.

The third instalment features four exceptional remixes that promise to captivate both long-time fans and new listeners alike. The EP opens with a powerful remix by Taelimb, delivering an innovative take on Chase & Status’ ‘Ten Tonne’. The second track sees Kolectiv offering a high-energy rendition of Konflict’s ‘Maelstrom’, blending contemporary elements with the original's timeless essence. On the third track, Ben Kei pushes the boundaries with a bold reinterpretation of Loxy & Dylan’s ‘ Death March’, while the final track, remixed by Dushi, closes the EP with a dynamic and engaging version of Raiden’s timeless classic, ‘Fallin’.

Renegade Hardware continues to be a cornerstone of the Drum and Bass community, renowned for its commitment to quality and its influence on the genre. The 'From The Vaults' series is a testament to the label's enduring impact, showcasing both the rich legacy and the innovative future of drum and bass music.

Renegade Hardware is proud to announce the release of the second EP and fourth instalment in the 'From The Vaults' remix series. Dropping just a few weeks after the previous part, this latest EP continues to build excitement for the full album, scheduled for release in August 2024.

'From The Vaults' is a collection designed to celebrate and revisit the influential tracks that have shaped Renegade Hardware's legacy. This second EP offers four fresh remixes, each one breathing new life into beloved classics and showcasing the label's innovative spirit.

The EP kicks off with Mistic's remix of Absolute Zero & Subphonics’ - ‘The Code’, bringing a dynamic and modern twist to the original. Next up, Philth delivers a deep and rolling interpretation of Konflict’s ‘Roadblock’ that will resonate with both long-time followers and new listeners. Long-standing Hardware veteran Gremlinz takes the reins for the third track, offering a bold and inventive rendition of Ink’s ‘B-Boy Convention’. The EP concludes with the return of NC-17 to the series with his remix of Usual Suspects’ ‘ED 209’, providing a heavy perspective and closing the release on a high note.

With the complete album release scheduled for release in August, and the label fast approaching its 3rd decade, Renegade Hardware continues to be a key player in the drum and bass community, known for its commitment to quality and its influence on the genre.

Hailing From the North East of England, Aye Rights is a producer who embraces both old school
and modern sides of Neurofunk Drum and Bass. Combining the character of crunchy beats and
basslines from the Tech-Step era with the meaty weight of modern productions Aye Rights has
very quickly gained recognition from some of the old "headz" in the industry alongside those from the newest generation of Neurofunk.
