Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @uvallmusic for the 123rd installment of Amplify Series.

Uväll is a respected figure in Georgia's electronic music scene. Raised in Tbilisi, he has developed his musical style over the years, focusing on deep, muscular rhythms that define his raw, dancefloor-oriented sessions. He has released music on labels such as Dig Curated, WSNWG, FLOAT, INGUMA, OECUS, and CANTICLE, showcasing his depth and intensity as a producer. His performances have left a strong impression at venues like BASSIANI, Radion, Jasna1 & Fvtvr - just to name a few. Uväll is also a co-founder of the event series called FACTION, where he continues to explore and contribute to the techno music scene with a deep-rooted passion for electronic music.

“For this one, I’m highlighting an artist that i respect for keeping things pure and uncompromising. Decka for me is a real one with a sharp ear for proper techno.
This studio session is mixed straight from wax and you can hear it in the flow and in the crackles between the grooves. The whole session is stripped-back and loopy, heavy on locked repetition but always alive and energetic. The kind of techno music that I love to hear from a techno dj. Simple, raw and straight to the core of this genre.

Fast. Impulsive. Techno. Three words to establish and define what the artist known as Egotot is all about. The young musician, hailing from the deep south of Germany, sets quite the pace when it comes to his vision of electronic music, regarding both tempo as well as quality. His beats, be in the studio or in the DJ booth, appear to come and arrange themselves seemingly with no effort. A Rave-infected sonic testing ground without ever feeling like a simple Rave pastiche. A vision of Techno that is obviously inspired by its sound of the 90s, but neither exceedingly aggressive, nor excessively happy.

Egotot has a special taste for rugged, up-tempo grooves which demand their own time to breathe and reveal their power. A sonic all-purpose weapon to be used on, for, and by the dance floor. However, his sense for music doesn’t stop at the edge of dancefloor-oriented Rave. It goes far beyond, right to and through the sometimes more and sometimes less subtle tides of electronic music.

This exemplarily reflects in his very own imprint, Schimmer Records, which he founded in 2019. The label has, in a rather short period of time, already evolved to a sonic reservoir of all different shades, all of which share a commonality – quality in production, love to detail, and an undeniable appeal to avid devotees of electronic music of all kinds. 

There is nothing confusing about Egotot’s take on music. It is clean-cut, it is straightforward, it is always effective. The Industrial clout, the fast groove, the merciless rigor – this is how Techno should sound in the 21st century, and Egotot is its perfect avatar.

An extended opening session, weaving exclusive unreleased productions with a raw, textured selection to construct the night's foundation.

This recording documents that process in real time: four hours of reading the room's energy and guiding its momentum from the first arrivals into the depth of the afterparty. The set unfolds across four decks, concluding its final thirty minutes on a condensed setup as the main room was reconfigured for the exterior stage. The recording is complete, capturing the full narrative save for the final ten minutes, which were ceded to facilitate this technical transition.
