A drummer from the age of seven, his intuitive ear naturally turned digital and has been catching the attention of industry heads in recent years. A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Recording of my Live Act at Jardim Sonoro, in Lisbon. I used two controllers to control Ableton (108 knobs & 12 buttons) and an Erica Synths Perkons (also processed in Ableton in real time). 95‰ of the synth ideas you hear were created in the moment. No scene launch in ableton whatsoever. Let me know if you find the 5% pre recorded beats :D

It’s a completely raw recording, no level adjustment, no mastering and no editing (yes you can hear a little crash on my computer near the end).

Bokilifu Boni born in 1730 was a freedom fighter and leader of the Aluku tribe. He fought and fought for the freedom of our people and raiding all plantations until his death 
due to warfare  in 1793.
Here i am talking about him hundreds of years later with inspiration of his strength and devotion. His legacy lives through our free souls today.

With this mix i took it back to the very basics. the mindset of one big story where the rhythms lead you to hypnotize if locked in. Simplicity, with a less is more mentality. Inspired by the pace of the Apintie drums which is always fast and rhythmic.

Raised in the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music at a young age. His studies in Sound Engineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer improved his technical skills and the sound of his own productions. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to fulfil his own sound ideals. Influenced by early Detroit Techno and Berlin Dub Techno, Drum & Bass, Dubstep and IDM, he likes to break the frame. He demonstrated all this on his Glitch Club Series debut in 2019, instantly becoming a Glitch favourite.

He is just as impressive across the course of this set as he cooks up an intense ride through his deep affinity with Detroit techno and pumping rhythmics that will leave you out of breath.
