Sydney label Doe Dee continues it's exploration of Australia's outer limits with Tred's 'Planet Perth' EP delving into the realm of fast paced electro over 4 cuts. Tred's 2 original tracks explore the mature sonic range of the young Perth born Berlin based producer with '(To)Night' bringing deep driving melodic euphoria and 'S2003's shimmering pads building into a moody mysterious crescendo. Fellow Perth export Privacy provides the S2003 remix where a steppy half time intro leads the way into a surprise half mark arpeggio rinse-out and Sydney's Jensen Interceptor rounds things out with a full throttle acid mindmelting version of (To)Night

The latest madness from notorious RF label boss Rennie Foster is a raw, warehouse style, techno trance-funk builder that could bang in any era and fit into a dozen or more genres of dance music. The title track Pole Position is comprised of only a few basic elements pushed beyond their usual presentation for a remarkable and unique result. The track is somewhat like a punk attitude being applied to a rave environment and it is sure to be a cult favorite among Rennie's core following regardless of mainstream appeal. 

The accompanying track Angelic Upstart also presents a trance inducing atmosphere but this time less aggressive and directed at the after hours morning floor that Rennie is often commanding as a DJ. Set on a bed of classic 303 acid and cinematic strings, the breakdown gives way to a Detroit style lead synth and the hypnotized congregation is immediately lifted up. The dance ritual is complete. 

Remixes both come from the UK, the first being from Derek Carr a respected stalwart of the melodic underground sound. He takes the basic sound palette and tone of the original in a completely different direction with a broken beat and creates a breathy and beautiful slice of sophisticated electro dream pop. This version is sure to resonate with fans of Derek's work. 

Going further north for the next remix, Auto Sound City bring a hardware punishing heater with the main pads of Pole Position getting absolutely tangled up in the pluck bass jack groove and rolling drum machine speaker fuel. There is definitely a nod to Detroit going on here, but with a primal and industrial house music knock as well. Pure underground mayhem. This desirable weapon is for heads only. 

This is the final release in a series of three releases by Rennie Foster that feature artwork by Vancouver based artist and photographer Tomas Jirku.

Há 23 anos, Thiel Pelegrine é conhecido na cena eletrônica paulistana por sua apurada técnica, suas mixagens longas, construtivas e suas energéticas performances.

Hoje o set de Thiel Pelegrine é uma refinada convergência entre: deep house, bass house, Uk garage, tech-house, minimal, techno e breaks e old School (80's & 90's), introduzindo batidas funkeadas, timbres hipnóticos e grooves atmosféricos. 
Atualmente em 2014, Thiel segue como professor do curso de Deejays (básico e avançado), na Dj escola , alem de ter sua própria marca no mesmo seguimento, a Oficina Djs: www.oficinadjs.com.br .

Rennie Foster has been a well-respected figure in the Canadian music and art community for over two decades. He influenced many as an early pioneer of the Hip-Hop / B-Boy movement, and later the House Music and Techno / Rave scene, participating in the first events in Western Canada during the birth of these now common urban subcultures. He is also very well known within the niche of graffiti art for his early work, having been archived in several published books.

Rennie relocated to Tokyo Japan in 2004 and became an important part of the Japanese club scene, playing all over Japan in venues such as Womb, ageHa, and Yellow, maintaining DJ residencies in Tokyo and Kyoto at the Metro club and at the Nagisa Music Festival in Tokyo and Osaka. Rennie was consistently ranked in the top 50 DJs in Japan by LOUD Magazine until re-locating back to Canada in 2011. Rennie is currently a resident DJ at Western Canada’s top after-hours club, Gorg-O-Mishin Vancouver, BC, regularly traveling to play as a guest at underground venues across Canada, Detroit, New York,and Paris and has played festivals such as Shambhala and  Bass Coast among others.

Rennie Foster has released music with Jack White’s Third Man Label, classic dance music labels including Transmat, F-Communications, Synewave, Teknotika, Subject Detroit, and is widely recognized for his underground anthem Devil's Water on Rebirth Records. Rennie has remixed, or been remixed by, some of the top names in dance music such as Juan Atkins, James Zabiela and Swayzak. He has released many singles, EPs, and four full length albums. He runs a signature record label RF and continues to produce tough urban house music and stylish techno for cutting edge dance music imprint including Goldmin Music and Skylax Records in Paris and the Detroit based Soiree Records.
