Producer, DJ and musician from Cape Town. Unlike my father, folk musician Brian Finch (absolute legend), I've never pursued music as a career opting instead for financial security. I've been working in corporate since 18 but dipping in and out of music since the young age of 16 when my father taught me to play guitar.  Electronic music became my passion at a young age when I decided to walk upstairs from the Playground, Cape Town's premier alternative club scene at the time, to Deviate, Cape Town's first dance music club. That had a profound effect on me, when my electronic music passion was born.

I started DJ'ing on vinyl from 17 having bought my first record, Da Hool - Meet her at the love parade. I moved to London taking only £400 with me, landed up in Camden Market and spent every penny on more vinyls.  From there I got a decent job in IT and music was always on the periphery. 

I started producing music on Fruity Loops around 2002, then bought Reason where I produced basically a lot of melodic crap. I was uninspired, even after buying an Access Virus TI synthesizer, still unable to please myself with my results. 

In 2021 my life changed forever when I survived open heart surgery and a major infection twice. Its amazing how such life events can be the biggest gift in a lifetime.  I decided to invest both time and money into my production tools and have been producing what I think is some decent tunes since.
