We wrote this song many moons ago, and serendipitously, the release date we had planned for it falls right in the middle of a universal great awakening. Not knowing that it would manifest so literally, Fake Human is a song about pretending to be creatures of sound mind, while hinting at the idea that we are still creatures of comfort and bad habit. Passing on ideologies that have been handed to us, as opposed to taking on new ones based on our current reality.

KOEN brings you the 4th edition of his instrumental series, 'Outputs'. Outputs 4 is a eight-track, digital release, including a bonus remix from fellow Dutch producer Nangdo. Outputs 4 features eight soul-inspired, bass-driven, instrumental tracks.

Koen resides in Groningen, The Netherlands, and is a musician next to being a high school teacher. Koen specializes in soulful music, whether it is hip-hop, 808, juke or R&B. Besides working on his own music, Koen works on several projects together with close friends Duke Hugh and Nangdo, who are also from Groningen.
In the past couple of years Koen released a variety of projects, including a digital release together with Atlanta-based vocalist Staycen.
