This is a recording of an NBC transcribed radio program called, "Still of the Night," featuring Dick Leibert and poetry. Leibert plays the Rockefeller Center broadcast studio Wurlitzer. This program aired October 9, 1952, from 11:30 p.m. to 12 midnight, and featured appropriate "late-night" repertoire.

The particular discs heard here are 12-inch, 33 1/3 rpm lacquer air check disks (instantaneous recordings). Their packaging suggests they were made for Leibert's own personal use, since they were addressed to him at Radio City Music Hall.
