The Production was one of a kind, Really wanted to make her vocal feel the same. So i used some bit crusher on the intro, into a very dry lead with a light delay for emphasis for the verse. Then some sample delay to widen her vocal in the Pre HKs into the HK. I wanted the mix to be able to tell the same story she was trying to convey in the song. From The chaos of the storytelling part to the higher heavenly feel at the end. But this was a joy to mix. ENJOY and stay tuned.

This Was Simple Mix over this Good Throwback Beat. the most interesting part of this mix was the Delay on the hk, I put Some Distortion on the Mix of the Delay. Really Added a nice Aesthetic to the hk, Gave u a good feeling. But as far as the vocals once i got them Compressed and Eq'd and sitting right in the mix It was pretty much a wrap.I added some funky delays and breaks in the instrumental to give it some flair but besides that Cool and Gyasi Kamau Killed it ,Good Shit,

Long Time 2 was enjoyable to mix because of the crazy melodic key parts that peter put on it. After leveling and brightening those up . The drums me and my collective((THEMpeople) put on, made the track! Made sure the lowend was tight and the Claps were crisp, and high hats bright. When it came to his vocal i took a lot of time finiding the right compressor chain to fit , I ended up using the C1comp and CLA-3A Very lightly then A heavy compression with the Izotope Vocal Suite. Came out perfect in this situation. But this is 1 of many from #10Day

I really Enjoyed Mixing this record beginning to end. NJOMZA has a Amazing voice that is fun to manipulate. SO THe intro was the most fun. Utilizing my izotope stutter edit Plug in to help manipulate the endings of her phrases. THe Delay in the verse also sets up the Spacey PreHook. THe Hook I just wanted to be BIG since the beat has such a mellow tone through out. But it just took 3 Layers of njomza and I use 2 compressors 1 C1 Wave just to catch the dynamics and And The stock Logic compressor to squash it and add some weight to the vox. On all ove her vocals i used my Dream Verb That i created with Space Designer in logic. Into the Bridge i Found more room to go crazy with the fx. Take A listen ANd let us know what u think.

NJOMZA-Riding Solo

I enjoyed Mixing this Track< it all came together pretty well, starting out with Chukwu Verse, I used a significant amount of stutters to bring attention to focal points of his raps. The beat was pretty heavy so when choosing my fx i had to keep in mind the eq of the instrumental. i utilized low pass filter to help me make space for certain fx. When it came to the hook, i brought in Michael Anthony with a reverse reverb and from there on i delayed the significant end phrases of his hook. From there i wanted to make mic's parts really stand out by drops and utilizing the reverb to my advantage. On chance Caleb and Vics Verse i wanted to keep it interesting for the listener but also enough room so u can hear the substance of the lyrics.

I used the CLA-3A and logics Compressor on Geralds Vocals, The REnaissance EQ did wonders on the hook t help bring out the melodies of Gerarld. I used a couple of delay effects through out the record, Very tastefully i used a coulee drops a some distortion , From the pedalboard in logic 9, And Finished off my master vocal mix with Izotope Nectar.This record was fun to mix plus gerald is a hell of a lyricist! Njomzas High record was enjoyable to mix, From the Soultry sound of the EP , Do the Low end in the kick. It was already a pretty spacy beat utilizing the stereo spread with the instrumental. I wanted her Vocal to sit a little on top of the ambiance in the music, so u good get the full effect of any reverb , Delay, or modulation i used. Legits A based Freestyle really was enjoyable to mix be cause f the lyrical content, i like to play off the content with the effects i use. With the hook, i used some gtr distortion with a large spring verb  under his main vocal, just to give it a gritty sound and spacy room. But i didn't go to crazy effecting during the verses so u can really concentrate on what he is saying. i tastefully use drops and simple medium delays to add accents throughout the verses. DBridge-Origami Was A pretty simple mix, Ive worked with Dbridge since he was a youngin so i know his vocals prettywell. All the work went into the auto mation, i decided to go light on the compression, and concentrate on the dynamics of the vocals. Bringing out melodies when needed and taking back some excited vocals. Geralds Vocals Were the most work , because of the melodic flcws and punches he did. Chances Raps spoke for them selfs, no effects needed, just a little delay on the ad-libs, and stereo spread of some dbles.
