evan weiss, one of my favorite songwriters ever, describes this song as "a song about your best friends" and i think it hit me more than it would've if i had heard it a while back. this year's been strange, just filled with trying to figure myself out and finding myself in friends i hold dear. i've found that i still let my fear of losing the ones i love control me to the point of crippling anxiety, and so i have to learn to just let things be. sometimes, things just work out for the moment it's in. 

so, yeah. this is to those who've made me feel less alone this past year. i'm sorry for being tough to figure out. i can barely do that myself.
