The sweet smell of summer has arrived in tandem with our June show, and you can feel the excitement in the air as the world slowly turns back to normality. Yet there is nothing out the ordinary with this month's delectable delivery of tunes.

Expect a lot of fawning over our favourite producers and labels within the drum and bass community, in amongst some of the freshest music of the past year.

As a reminder, the DDD collab project is where one of our favorite producers provides us with a sample pack and producers from around the globe are encouraged to download the pack and create something with it. At the end of the process we're checking out all the beats and making a mix of our favorites! (Plus releasing a few as-is for you all to check out).

Introducing two new tunes from a rising producer currently tearing up the American Bass Music game and receiving support from genre definers like Mala and Joe Nice. Dubs Alive presents: Saule, The Woods. These tracks crush the soundsystem with Dubstep influenced rhythms and impact, truly defined by the sub bass lines. The release speaks most to the dancefloor with a heavy punch, utilizing haunting tones, menacing ambience and tastefully sparse vocal elements to enhance the mood. Subtle Mind then implores their uniquely melodic sound, pushing the depths of the original with a heavily swung remix. This monstrous single adds to the ever developing modern Dub sound which defines Dubs Alive Records.

A Different Perspective

We are proud to present the Monotic EP by Sorse, this is actually the first five track EP we've released... it's a special occasion and it's a very special EP!

The EP opens with the title track itself and this one sets the standard for the whole release - beautiful pads, intricate arpeggios, expertly programmed beats and perfect warm bass all combine to create five incredible soundscapes.... it doesn't all have to be industrial drones and noise you know?

It's cliché to say it but this really is an EP made to be listened to in full from start to finish. Take 25 minutes of your day to give it the attention it deserves. You won't regret it!
