The long-awaited link-up between Settle Down and LMajor arrives on Repertoire in the form of the Trying EP. Four unique cuts, switching between tempos, styles, and moods — from jungle, to techstep, to breakbeat.

This release is pressed using Ecomix — a more sustainable method that blends recycled vinyl (re-grind PVC), giving each record a smoky, marbled appearance in random colours. No two copies are the same.

Fresh off a guest mix for Adrenaline and a standout new EP, Raytracer, we caught up with Nectax to talk foundations, friendship, and the funny ways tunes get named — plus a few hints at what’s to come from his forthcoming debut album.

Next up in the 30 Years of Metalheadz lathe cut series - two iconic tracks perfectly complimented by each other. 
 
First up is 'The Alpha Kemistry' - seeing the light of day for the very first time. Originally created by Goldie as a loop for Diane Charlemagne to sing over, this piece has sat quietly in the archives, untouched and unheard. It's a crucial fragment of our history and a key moment in Goldie's journey, now finally available in full form.
 
On the flip, we're bringing you a long-requested heavyweight: Benny L's 2018 remix of Alex Reece's legendary 'Pulp Fiction'. The original changed the game back in 1995, stripping things back and introducing a groove that would become foundational in drum & bass. Benny's remix takes that DNA and amplifies it for today's sound systems - a staple in Goldie's sets and a fitting tribute to one of the genre's most influential tracks.
