Part 3: We are glad that Ms. Pinnamaneni brought this to our attention and Ripoff Report will be looking into the situation to see if there is something that can be done under one of our new pilot policies that we are testing out to help people who are perceived, based on a totality of the information we receive and circumstances, to have been unjustly posted about.  There may be something that can be done to help the young entrepreneur out.

Part 2: One of the very first things that Ripoff Report does when business joins our Corporate Advocacy Program is to send the following email to anyone that filed a Ripoff Report about them in the past titled “XYZ Business Contacts Ripoff Report to make things right with customers from the past.” We want listeners to know that Ripoff Report takes a hard line with both the consumer and the member business; Ripoff Report is for what is right and fair…but the member business must err on the side of their customer. On another note, Ms. Pinnamaneni brought to our attention a story about a young taxidermist that may be questionable based upon the information she received during her interview process for this story.

We think they team over there at Gimlet Media did a good job at creating a balanced approach in speaking about the pros and cons of the website. In listening to the pod-cast it was determined that perhaps a few important points about the Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program a.k.a. Corporate Advocacy Program or CAP got missed. If you listen to the pod-cast, which we encourage you to do…it really is a good show…we want you to know that we believe that one of the most important parts of the Corporate Advocacy Program (and the reason why shady businesses may not want to join the Program) is that Ripoff Report makes all member businesses take care of customers who wrote about them on Ripoff Report in the past.

interesting, he complains about how people see him and how it's ruined his life -that's his choice!  yet he has no compunctions about how he has ruined the lives of the innocent.   Yelp! does has a similar business practice: if you do not pay their fees, they will remove the good reviews and keep the bad ones. Small businesses cannot pay these fees and everyone uses Yelp.

Episode 01 : The Charter School Scam

From its inception as agriculture trade paper in 1843 to the present day, The Economist has provided a gateway into the mind of the banking class. Something of an anomaly in the publishing industry, The Economist is not quite a magazine, not quite a newspaper; aspirational in its branding but bleakly limited in political ambitions; brazenly transparent in its capitalist ideology, yet inscrutable in its favorably spinning for American and British imperialism and racism.

It is publication owned by the wealthy for the wealthy and advertises itself as such. Its only moral pretense: a long history of championing what it calls “liberalism, ”a notoriously slippery term that, in The Economist’s world, views freedom to profit and exploit labor as interchangeable with the freedom of religion, press and speech. 

As such, examining The Economist’s history, its connection to British and American banking interests and intelligence services, can tell us a great deal about the narrow focus of Western, and specifically British notions of “liberalism.” The promotion of capital flows over justice, enlightened imperialism over self-determination, abhors overt racism while promoting more subtle forms of race science and colonialism, all along easing the conscience of wealthy white readers that want to feign concern about human suffering but who have everything to gain by doing absolutely nothing about it.
