Repressure proudly presents the long awaited Flex EP by LA based producer Keenhouse. The Flex EP is an ode to Detroit. The city that is a worldwide inspiration for the techno scene as it is right now. Listening to the EP is like traveling back into time to where it all started years ago. Remember those analogue synthesizers, which were ground breaking in the nineties.

Ken Rangkuty's personal journey started during his childhood in Indonesia and later in Germany, which included diverse musical development. Keenhouse, Rangkuty's solo career, started in 2008 with Civic Transit, an album heavily influenced by his new surroundings in Los Angeles. This lead to a string of buzz worthy remixes, including noteworthy reworks for Fitz & The Tantrums, College, Shinichi Osawa, West Indian Girl, Muddyloop, and Housse De Racket. Co-Writes with Baron Von Luxxury (Manimal) and Futurecop!

What emerged is the exploration of in Keenhouse's own words "the freedom of working within electronic sound and the desire to expand on those experiences to knit together a storyline out of memories and imagination." To Keenhouse the motions of story are universal. Music is like a story, something with a beginning, middle and an end.

Remixes are done by French DJ/Producer P-Ben and Dutch best-kept secret De La Rock.

@Teqnov is back on @Repressure Recordings with some nasty delicious ear candy for your pumping speakers. The track is called ‘BELHAMEL' and is a combination of strong percussions with funky old school and early techno vibes. He brings a new flavor to the techno scene with a typical sound that can be described as funky & intense. Since his switch to techno music Teqnov is hugely supported by big names in the techno scene such as techno queen @FatimaHajji and @Autektone label boss @T78Official.

International remixes are done by Italian duo from Venice @POLSofficial and Copenhagen finest @AudiologMusic.

POLS is a techno project from Italian producers Paolo and Vincent and is currently producing some of the most lively Techno Italy has to offer. Before starting POLS, Vincent found success with his electro project called #VEGAMOORE, touring the United States and releasing with @DIMMAKrecords. Paolo would cut his teeth working the local scene as a DJ. POLS gained a lot of attention with their signature sound of heavy-hitters including @Paco-Osuna, @LuigiMadonna, and @RichieHawtin just to name a few.

Audiolog is a Copenhagen based techno producer, DJ, and label owner founded in 2010. Growing up playing in various punk and industrial bands, his passion for rough electronics shines through in his techno productions, both in groove and harmonics and often applies some form of “hook” to catch the listeners' attention. His upcoming release on Repressure is a collaboration with Female techno DJ @DesiraySaija which will be remixed by Detroit OG Legend Santonio Echols (@Santonio-1).

His remix version of “Julunggul” takes you to his world where he has never limited himself to one particular style of producing. You could easily say that he is incredibly versatile in switching between many styles that demonstrates him as a well known producer. Releases like “Tone Exploitation” and “Phuture” are remixed by big names like Kevin Saunderson, Ken Ishii, Luke Slater, Robert Hood and Ben Sims. After more than two decades Orlando Voorn can look back on a solid career leaving a legacy of dance music from the past, present & future.

A.Paul’s popularity made him become the Best Portuguese Techno DJ, 3 years in a row, voted by the readers of Dance Club Magazine, the main magazine for dance music in Portugal. A’Paul was influenced by legends like Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Joey Beltram and Steve Rachmad.

Next release on Repressure is from Ritzi Lee. His Reflections EP holds four up tempo techno tracks, pure from the heart and an homage to techno heads worldwide. Ritzi Lee, real name Steve Liem, has been around the techno scene a long time. Experienced in producing and DJ-ing and being a successful owner of his own Underground Liberation label, he knows what he wants and what the people need to hear.

We were thrilled last year, when we heard Ritzi Lee’s remix of Repressure release RR1109  ‘Induction’ on Dave Clark’s White Noise radio and Ben Sims’ Funk You 005 podcast weeks before it’s release date. We simply asked Ritzi if he was down for an EP on our label which resulted in the Reflections EP. A trip to underground techno, where the listener is thrown back and forth from old school to new ways. If you love techno in its purist form, this EP will definitely be something you want to listen to…

Ritzi Lee discovered techno music from the moment he got influenced by Steve Rachmad’s music. Several tracks from Ritzi appeared in top 10 charts of artists like Dave Clarke and Ben Sims and are played at many impressive festivals around the globe by deejays like Orlando Voorn and Adam Beyer.

We are proud to present Gabriela Penn here on Repressure. Sadly enough there are still just not enough women who produce and DJ. Not only is it much nicer to watch behind the decks, but women have a great way to surprise us with their look on dance music. Gabriela is such a gal, who has the skills to rise to the top. Born in Germany and living in the Netherlands now, this beauty is something to look out for.

For Repressure she sent us two tracks, which we signed immediately. With the help of rising star Rob Hes, German techno star Mike Maass and Touche legend Jamez, this release is a proper wannahave. With her strong eye for detail, her nice warm deep melodies and deep funky grooves, techno will never be the same…
