Music producer and artist MACY i back on the scene with a fantastic new release: “Keep Your Love.” This release serves as a really striking introduction of MACY’s unique style, which on this track explores progressive house elements, with an organic touch. The song kicks off with a subtle and understated beat, adorned with lush synth parts. I love the thin, snappy sound of the snare and how it lets the other elements in the mix have more room, especially the melodic parts, which remind me a bit of instruments such as Kalimbas or Marimbas, but with some tasteful echo effects. The beat later acquires a busier pattern, which some killer 16th note hi-hats, adding a sense of flow and urgency to the mix, that feels like a spark for the progressive elements in this arrangement. Like all of the other productions by MACY, this one is all about great quality standards, offering a crisp, immersive sound that values melody and groove in equal doses.
