"I was strolling down the lane, once again, in the rain and I began to hear lyrics in my head.  I wrote them down later that day, and played some chords along with it on my acoustic.  The next month, we had a deadline to record a band for a project that I and some friends had going, and i suggested we record Reptile Zoo. The band ended up rehearsing the song only one time prior to the recording session, only a few hours earlier that day.
