Tired of politicians lying and living cushy lives? Tired of the government continuing to take away our rights? Tired of those in positions of power being less than stellar human beings? That was some of the inspiration for this song. Many of our songs are about oppression from inside our own minds as a result of addiction and mental illness. This is more about legitimate threats from outside of ourselves...and people being too apathetic or too ignorant to band together in defense of our own livelihoods and futures. I hope people that feel powerless in this sometimes scary world can feel empowered through the heavy feel of this song and the underlying current of brother (and sister) hood.
