His tribal infused tech house continues to win over the world’s dancefloors and on the release front 2014 has already been an impressively busy year with his music featuring on KD Music, Suara, Stereo Productions and his own imprint Night Light Records.   Never one for letting the dancefloor rest, Tomic delivers hypnotic, relentless grooves and blistering beats, and does so once again on his latest SCI+TEC release, Solar Wind. WMC has passed, we're still recovering from the hangover and spring is arriving, and with it elrow Music presents another quite interesting debut in its ranks. Hungarian-born, Barcelona based DJ and producer Reelow joins elrow Music's family with a three tracker EP which sounds as cool as its name.

With two originals, this time the high rolling remix is delivered by Mendo, 'Fresh EP' starts with the track naming it, 'Fresh (Original Mix)', a steady, smooth and groovy track with a great tech-house progression, taking us back to the mid 90's thanks to its hip-hopish vocal line, that fits perfectly with the track's vibe. After, we find Mendo's remix of the title track, in which the half-Spanish, half-Swiss DJ and producer infuses the track with a happier and more carnivalesque ambience, pitching the track up and empowering both the bass and the drums, proving he knows perfectly what elrow's parties are all about. Finally, we have 'On Air (Original Mix)', a track which Reelow starts with the same hip-hop infused vibe, taking us to that East Coast kind of sound, with a lot of broken vocals, a soft, steady yet not overwhelming percussion, that will keep the crowds dancing at any time it drops on the dancefloor.

All in all, another big debut at elrow Music we were really looking forward to present, showing off some tech-house muscle thanks to Reelow. Summer is almost here. If you blink, you'll miss.

Producer, engineer and DJ extraordinaire Reset Robot is the alias of Dave Robertson, an accomplished artist based in Portsmouth on the south coast of the UK. Since launching the pseudonym in 2009 he has traveled the globe, DJing at many of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals, as well as rolling out a slew of well-received productions on labels such as Drumcode, Mobilee, Hotflush and his own platform Whistleblower Records. 

As a DJ Reset Robot’s unassuming approach belies his magnetic appeal and innate ability to craft sets that are polished, enthralling and full of shadowy allure. A self-confessed studio hound, he spends all day, every day at the controls, allowing creativity to flow out of him and refining his skills.
