Taking off where Nicole left us with her EP early this year, this is the first of two remix packages of the MOOD boss's 'Seeing It Through' release and, trust us; not one single stone has been left unturned by the remixers. Nicolas Bougaïeff takes the lead with his outlandish take on 'Common Dreams'. One of those rare re-rubs that takes the original to various new places; expect some impeccable switches and tempo turbulence along the way!

'The Sun At Midnight' receives its first of two reworks from the always on point Magdalena. Percolating with emotion, her melodic refresh delivers both power and poise in equal measure. And it's followed by a beautiful salute from one of the label's most consistent and much-loved regulars Marino Canal. Gently twisting the drums in a more tribal direction while preserving those soul-stirring pianos, it's another on-point twist to end this stunning volume. Ida Engberg describes Collage like so, "Not many things in life beat the true experience of the perfect party. Similarly, this compilation is all about that - bringing interesting elements together. I have invited producers that envoke that magic within me. They have all touched my soul. Ida Engbergs 'Burn Out' uses funky percussion to create an exceptional groove that is laced with synth sweeps before a detuned synth tunnels through the record. Fabio Alampi's 'Redkicks' uses a groovy sub bass before introducing a monster stab sound that gives the track a unique character. Mark Fanciulli's contribution 'Back to Front' incorporates vocal phrases and undertones of a melodic bass line to create a track that is functionally creative. Sinisa Tamamovic's track 'Big Night' is functional and uses sporadic synths to create tension whilst the repetitive bass line carries the track through. Marco Effe's 'Underclock' incorporates syncopated rhythms and sparse percussion to create a tripped out record. Philip Bader steps up to present his track, 'Sky Walk' that uses melodic bass pads and bleeps to create a shuffling rhythm. Emerson Todd's input uses a heavy analogue sounding bass line and synth stabs to create a track to keep the masses moving. Animal Trainer have provided a record which, uses melodic rhythms to create a groovy track.

Producer, engineer and DJ extraordinaire Reset Robot is the alias of Dave Robertson, an accomplished artist based in Portsmouth on the south coast of the UK. Since launching the pseudonym in 2009 he has traveled the globe, DJing at many of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals, as well as rolling out a slew of well-received productions on labels such as Drumcode, Mobilee, Hotflush and his own platform Whistleblower Records. 

As a DJ Reset Robot’s unassuming approach belies his magnetic appeal and innate ability to craft sets that are polished, enthralling and full of shadowy allure. A self-confessed studio hound, he spends all day, every day at the controls, allowing creativity to flow out of him and refining his skills. Two decades of experience feed into his output, and he prefers to keep things uncomplicated in the studio. The resultant sound is his signature; brooding, sombre, yet accessible and contagious. 

Reset Robot’s visceral rhythms infect your subconscious urging you to dance, while captivating motifs and riffs stay with you long after the rave has ended; earworms of the highest order.
