Re:Set made his Muti Music debut in 2022 with his Beyond Perspectives EP going heavily into Halftime DnB, he also contributed a beautiful tune on the 20 Years Of Muti compilation and he has now blessed us with an epic excursion into Dubstep that ranges from glitched out with intricate sound design, to deeper and dubbier, to some trippy and playful journeying and then into some banging breakbeats, and world music themed chill trap tune and then ending with one more edgy and slightly sinister Dubstep tune. 

This EP exemplifies his ability to bring precision sound design to the forefront while maintain a great sense of melody and flow.

On Mirrors, Re:Set returns to us with a hard hitting banger of an EP.
This one starts off with some spacey atmospherics that slowly become a little more sinister sounding and then drop into some awesome filthy basslines, the vibe is intense and should put at least a smile or some sort of bass face on many bass music lovers. This whole EP brings on the vibe of some distant planet with dinosaur robots roaming the landscape, laser beams and volcanic eruptions. It’s an awesome bass journey to go into.

The vision: to explore the hidden territories of the capabilities of perception in electronic musicality, turning the listening into a physical experience while aspiring to stimulate intellect and imagination through the big picture. 

After earning his degree at the famed Italian Institute of Music Technologies of Rome in sound design/engineering, Francesco Luigi Lenci aka Re:Set, subsequently moved to the music mecca of Berlin in 2012, where his passion took root in a multi-prong assault on speakers worldwide. His glitch-hop and bass-tinged live and dj sets have been the highlight of international festivals. In addition to his own music production, he served as Sound Engineer/Sound Designer for a number of artists and events.
