Trenton Tribute (Second Hand Audio Remix)

The original version of what became 90s monster hit "The Rhythm Of The Night" years later. Unfortunately none of the vinyl pressings sound good enough, I literally bought them all, both 12" and 7" formats, all are slightly distorted, so the overall sound here is not ultra crisp to say the least, still, a handy tool in to have in your shazam crate. Pure summer vibes from the man Joe Bataan with my simple rework of his classic Rap-O Clap-O released back in 1979.
Apparently recorded just before Rappers Delight though Sugarhill Gang beat him to the punch releasing their seminal rap classic just ahead with the rest being history!
Either way, a forgotten gem from the legend well due some summer lovin.

Empress were a disco funk band that produced one album. The single “Dyin’ To Be Dancin” was produced, written and performed by Crown Height Affair and the singer Gail Smith. Released in 1981 the track is considered an all time post disco boogie classic.
