@resident-advisor why not play it fare by posting track IDs in the content description? It should be a requirement for every DJ that submits a mix to include track IDs. The platform must ensure that credits are given when due and list them on the platform people use to do the actual listening. In this case SC and not RA website. It is time for the organizations, such as RA, to play their role in changing the unfair nature of posting DJ mixes on online platforms for more exposure and to generate the revenue, while not crediting a single artist that contributed to the mix. #playitfair

A big part of why we do what we do at Delayed is to create a platform for like-minded artists as well as connect in a worldwide community with music lovers who also appreciate a more soothing sound. It’s a best case that we are now able to feature Hame, an artist that comes straight from this community. He appeared in 2022 with his first release, “Compathy” on Lola Haro’s new born label Small Steps - and immediately touched listeners, bookers and us. Unsurprisingly he got booked for a live set at DOEL Festival and we strongly believe that all of you shall get to know the Amsterdam-based artist and get an impression of his approach, journey and of course, his music.

Cacophony is by definition a collision of multiple sounds in discordance. Sounds that shouldn't go together basically. Bogotá, Colombia’s Felipe Gordon does this, but in euphony(bringing pleasure to ones ear)! Spreading himself blissfully across jazzy, disco, funky and soulful elements he pours this concoction into his cluby productions and sets which has now given him international recognition. Having put out forty plus 12" releases and an album since 2014, including his brilliant "Timeless EP" on our Karakul subsidiary, he has found himself on labels like Shall Not Fade, Razor'N'Tape, Toytonics and some of the most long standing greats more recently like Nervous records. For Phonica mix 104 Felipe walks us through what for him brings musicality into electronic music, what live elements bring humanity into our dance floors. We have a quick chat about more on this subject below and see what else the Colombian artist has up his sleeve.

Recorded live at on 14 Dec 2024 at Tresor, Berlin. Vinyl + Digi. This was an opening set 12am-230. Unfortunately, there is an audible hum throughout the recording, especially in quieter sections. I don't know; I guess it was ground hum? I was able to reduce the noise a little bit, but it can still be heard in various areas.
