John Tejada (@paletterecordings) is a Vienna-born, Los Angeles-based electronic music composer, DJ, and professor at @calarts. Tejada’s professional output of music began in 1994 and has never let up, including five albums for the revered label @kompakt, plus releases on @pokerflatrecordings, @cocoonrecordings, @plugresearch-music, Seventh City, Playhouse, @defectedrecords, and his own label since 1996, @paletterecordings. Tejada has also been responsible for remixing over 100 songs for acts including The Postal Service, Télépopmusic, The Field, Bomb The Bass, @way-out-west, @kevinsaunderson, @darren-emerson, @gui-boratto-official, @simianmobiledisco and many others. Tejada’s latest venture as Wajatta is a musical collaboration with international star Reggie Watts, having released their debut album, Casual High Technology, in 2018 and Don’t Let Get You Down in 2020 on @brainfeeder. 
Tejada has traveled to more than 30 countries DJing and performing live at clubs—@berghain, @fabric, @rexclub, Womb; festivals such as @dance-valley, @decibelfestival, Dekmantel Festival, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, @mutek_montreal and @mutek_mx, @sonarfestival and Sync Festival, as well as esteemed venues such as the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and twice at Walt Disney Concert Hall, both in Los Angeles.

This one has been quite some time in the making. https://soundcloud.com/lunaludmila has been a friend of the label for years now, contributing tracks to compilations, playing at SoHaSo takeovers, hanging out, and basically representing Something Happening Somewhere in the best possible way. Her dubbed-out style and meticulous mixing shines through on this hour-long mix. It’s a thick weave of grooves, pads, and basslines that seems to move ever forward. To make these classic elements feel both fresh and familiar is quite an achievement. Thanks Ashley for taking us on this journey.

Born in Santiago, Chile in 1973, Ricardo Villalobos soon fled with his family to Germany following General Pinochet's military coup. While living in Germany, he was exposed to the country's nascent house scene, and soon became involved himself, DJing at at parties as a student. Following a few false starts, Villalobos starting DJing professionally in 1998 and became a figurehead of a nebulous group of artists playing stripped back & minimal house music - a style which dominated European dance music for almost a decade. Following minimal's decline in popularity, Villalobos remains a legendary figure in dance music, famous for marathon length sets full of playful detours and unexpected surprises.

During our recent adventure to Berlin we spent some time in the famous Blackroundtwelve record store where we ended up having a lovely conversation with Philipp Priebe, who has been creating some amazing music lately, deep & dubby with a touch of Berlins mysterious romanticism. A talk about life, culture and swapping experiences of running our independent record labels followed. After this lovely meeting we stayed in close contact and got to work to present you a trilogy of Philipp Priebe on Stately Records; A podcast, Digital release and a release on our soon to be revealed Sublabel (more on that later).

Therefore we’re honoured to share the 10th Stately Podcast with you, an hour of unreleased Philipp Priebe releases, some of them will even be part of the mentioned releases that will see the light of day soon, can you spot them?

Avenue Red was on recording duties as two of Manchester's finest oldskool house heads got together for a dig through the archives. This was at Damo B's long-running regular event, Nothing But The Truth held @ Eastern Bloc, Manchester from the hours of 22:00-03:00. This recording captures the proceedings after the first 40 minutes had passed by.

For those who don't know... Damo B is the presenter and producer of The Outta Limits Radio Show, exclusively on Manchester's Unity Radio 92.8 FM and online on www.unityradio.fm every Thursday night from 1am until 3am UK Time. "Techno, House and Electronica all up in the mix" is both the catchphrase and the solid gold truth. Damo also runs the burgeoning new label named Emotec, which has pressed EPs from MOY, BufoBufo, Auto Sound City and Rain & White Transit Van to date.

LHK (real name Liam Swarbrick) states that he is generally "retired" these years, but Damo helps to give him a platform on the odd occasion to keep his hand in the game. LHK released over 20 ace house records from 1998-2006 on cult labels including Glasgow Underground, Leeds label 20:20 Vision, Toronto label 83 West Records and the San Francisco-based Tango Recordings (run by fellow Mancunian Tony Hewitt), among other labels.
