Taking place in the stunning Hakuba Alps, Haruka delivered deeply mind-altering grooves into the night sky, with layers of psychedelia delicately teasing over intricate loops, all mixed with the precision of a veteran selector. 

Haruka is a longtime resident and co-organizer of the legendary Future Terror party, with regular bookings across Asia and beyond, including legendary venues such as Bassiani, Berghain, Basement NY & De School to list just a few.

Stepping up with the hypnotic, heavy-duty wares all set at knocking your senses askew, Belgian producer Peter Van Hoesen lands us a monster of a live set. Responsible for some seriously mind-expanding sorties on the likes of Tresor, Vlek and his self-operated outlets Time To Express & Center 91 over the past 15 years, Van Hoesen has established himself as one of the scene’s driving forces when it comes to integrating these cinematic ambiences into an effervescing mesh of pulsating 4x4 rhythms and a millefeuille of layered envelopes acting like quicksands. Recorded on the occasion of his latest live performance at Tresor Berlin on May 10, this particular live harnesses that deep-diving energy elemental to Van Hoesen’s intricate engineering of hi-velocity dynamics and rippling dub interplays, ushering us headlong into a bright, merciless furnace of sound. Ron Albrecht stands behind the decks of the most iconic clubs on the planet. His sets are deep, uncompromising, and emotionally charged – a captivating fusion of contemporary techno structures and the raw, honest roots of electronic music. With an exceptional sense for dramaturgy, he reads the energy of the dancefloor and guides his audience on an intense, almost meditative journey.

But his story goes much further back – deep into the early days of German techno culture. In the 1990s, Albrecht was more than just a DJ; he was a cultural pioneer. In 1994, he founded Gerberei in Schwerin, a club that quickly became one of the most important venues for electronic music in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For nearly two decades, he shaped the club as co-founder, organizer, and resident DJ – providing a stage for both national and international artists, far from the major cities. At the same time, from 1995 to 2006, he ran the legendary record store Easy Traxx, which became a hub and source of inspiration for many DJs and music lovers. It wasn’t just a place to buy records – it was a space where attitude and taste were curated, rooted in a deep understanding of vinyl culture and sonic aesthetics.

In a personal interview with Andre Kronert, Ron Albrecht talks about his first encounters with electronic music, the magnetic pull of Berlin’s early club scene, and the pivotal moments that shaped his path. His stories offer insight into a constantly evolving scene – and into the mind of an artist who continues to approach it with integrity, depth, and passion.
