When I gathered the music of Axel Boman for a Focus I did not imagine the enormous return of people (with the help of Axel who shared it on his page I admit it !!!)
Six months later I embark on a volume two and I continue to be surprised and totally in love with his productions as composers or remixers or his collaboration with John Talabot (Talaboman) ...
Each time the result is an unprecedented journey with very rich sound and melodic textures.
Even being a fan of his tracks, bringing all these works together brings another reading and sends us to another dimension like on the track "Just Imagine, Pt. I & II" and the sound of Oud or the rework on "Timecode" which gives us another vision etc ...

Still keeping things in the electronic spectrum, Half-awake or Half-asleep follows its namesake taking listeners to romantic and melancholic spaces - a subsonic and subconscious lyrical ride. Already an accomplished artist releasing and touring as a part of his main squeeze, rumor has it this side project will blossom into something quite spectacular in 2017. If these mixes are any indication of what is to come, we are already fully on board.
