In seinem Seasidetrip rollt der Bass über das Meer und bricht sich der Beat, in der Gicht der Wellen und diese Wellen verlieren sich schlussendlich im seichten Wasser am Strand. 

Offen für das, was es im Universum der Sound - Moleküle noch so gibt, bereist der Seasidetrip immer wieder neue, andere Routen - immer mit der Idee und dem Wunsch verbunden, die Vielfalt wiederzugeben und euch daran teilhaben zu lassen. Things we know about US-born Maurice Fulton. He used to make brilliantly weird house and disco as the Noize Boyz and still does under his own name. He produced weirdly brilliant acid house as Scyclops. He produced weirdly brilliant screamo post-disco with his equally brilliantly weird wife Mu and he now makes sometimes weird, always brilliant music on BubbleTease Communications. He’s also playing at the Queen of Hoxton, London, on NYE, and has done our last, need we add brilliant, podcast of the year packed full of quality disco.

Last May, we invited Leon Vynehall to play a rare 'open to close' set at Honey Soundsystem. There are not many selectors that we can trust to not only DEBUT themselves at a HSS party but also take on a room entirely to themselves. His set exceed our expectations and the recording ACTUALLY came out.

Honey fans know we don't release many live-recordings, but when we do they often have a life of their own (see Jennifer Cardini at Burning Man, Silent Servant at Holy Cow, Black Madonna at Deviants, Doc Sleep at the 9 Year Anniversary)

This set has been on repeat since that May 26th night and after some serious cajoling, Vynehall agreed to release the first couple of hours. Vynehall does not really release live mixes so we know how special this is and thank him for letting us go with it.

The set went on for another 3.5 hours but included some material Vynehall can't have out in the world yet. So... here is an exceptionally good 3.5 hours at one of our traditional Sunday night, holiday weekend, Honey Soundsystem parties in San Francisco.
