Aside from quickly becoming a figure of prominence in the local scene, Kay's ability behind the booth has generated thoroughly deserved mix opportunities for both CRUDE Berlin and Boiler Room - gracefully sending the oscillations of her well-known style to the ears of music lovers worldwide.

IDMT @ The Seed | MoDem Festival 2023

Daed's music is characterized by creative sound design, intricate edits, thick atmospheres and playful melodies. His work has been compared to the likes of Autechre, Venetian Snares, Squarepusher, and Aphex Twin. He focuses heavily on the creation of abstract, other-worldly sounds as exemplified by his work with Glitchmachines and Inear Display. He is firmly establishing himself with releases on Mozyk, Analogical Force, and Concrete Collage. He continually seeks to push the boundaries of what he creates and has started creating custom software to achieve this goal and he is the co-founder of Defunkt Records.

Which artists have influenced you the most?
- I'm heavily influenced by Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Qebrus, Noisia and Autechre. I also have a past with metal music that drives a lot of my decisions.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?
- I have several projects lined up, but nothing in the very near future. Some self-released, some with labels. I do have a metal project that I'm slowly putting together, which relates a lot to my last answer.

Which artists/labels are more relevant to you now?
- Currently, Defunkt Records, Analogical Force, and Concrete Collage.

What inspires you now to create music?
- Everything. Living, experiencing life. All of it inspires music for me. I don't think I would be alive today if it weren't for music and it is a very central part of my existence. 

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- I bounce between a lot of things. Most of my released music is created using Renoise, but I also like to dabble in a lot of other software (Bitwig, Blockhead, VCV Rack). In terms of hardware, I use an octatrack live, along with whatever I feel like syncing to it. Some of my gear includes: An Arturia Minifreak, a Korg Monologue, a guitar, a M8 tracker, and an LXR-02 Drum machine.

Teclab.bp presents KAYTSENG. Having moved from Taiwan to Australia some years ago, Kay quickly established herself as one of Naarm’s (Melbourne’s) most respected purveyors of dark, gritty electronic music. Whether delivering earth-shaking techno or driving, emotive trance, she built a well-deserved reputation in a scene eager to catch her performances—whether at packed clubs or the city’s signature underground raves.  Kay has supported notable artists such as Mama Snake, Schacke, Neri J, Blue Hour, and DJ Spit. Her skill and dedication behind the decks earned her landmark mix invitations from industry leaders like Boiler Room and CRUDE Berlin before she relocated to Amsterdam in 2023.  That year marked a major step up for Kay, as she made her SÄULE (Berghain) debut with CRUDE Berlin—delivering a performance that instantly secured her an ongoing residency with the Berlin label.

This episode features a mix from GAN D, heavily inspired by his experience on the dance floor at Mo:Dem Festival 2025. Gan D, a Dutch–Malaysian DJ and producer originally from Kuantan, Pahang, and now based in The Netherlands, is a  true sonic wizard whose music defies boundaries. Gan D blends psychedelic soundscapes with peculiar rhythms, dub echoes, and glitched textures to create journeys that challenge the conventional and transport listeners into altered states of consciousness. Gan D’s artistry lies not just in the music he plays but in the profound stories he tells through sound. With releasing his debut EP on independent label HYPERWAVES (Den Haag), represents a bold step forward in his artistic journey, blending deep, immersive layers into his productions, highlighting the artist’s commitment to evolve through a fresh and dynamic experience. He then continued on to release with labels such as techlab.bp (Budapest), EVOLVE (Madrid) and Flux Collective (Norway).
