Dirty Hands dug deep into the crypt and unearthed a hidden gem: Polant, a previously unreleased track from the early 2010s, a golden era of the Amsterdam house scene.

Known only from Polder’s live sets, this lost treasure was crafted by iconic artists of the time: Polder (Lauhaus & David Labeij) and Anton Pieete. To complete the release, Sweden’s finest Dorisburg and Parallax Deep deliver impressive remixes, sealing the deal in style.

JIA (Podcast #007)

JIA is a Brooklyn-based DJ with a sound shaped by her love for groove, grit, and bounce. Her sets move fluidly across styles, often blending percussive rhythms with spacey synths and a playful sense of flow.

She is a co-producer of ar:kive, a collective dedicated to recording and documenting underground local and global DJs, where she also serves as the voice behind intimate, thoughtful interviews. Beyond the booth, JIA contributes to NYC’s music community through both storytelling and platform-building.

The SlapFunk crew have another new recruit for their mission to match minimal dance aesthetics with tough old-skool punch. Danish producer Martinez has plenty of experience having released everywhere from Guidance to Moon Harbour and Minibar, and he sounds right at home freaking the funk for the Dutch contingent. There's a straight up strut to the jacking drums on opener "Inter Species Relations", while "Aspired Commotion" slips into the kind of wriggling shuffle you'd expect from a SlapFunk release. "No Data" adopts a skippy 2-step stance with some eerie textures on top, and then "Shanty Town" finishes the record off with more swinging business peppered with delightful keys.

Ingi Visions strikes again! After their previous 'Get Slapped EP' it was time for some new heat. Blood brothers Samuel Deep and Julian Alexander known for their energetic style came up with four heavy club tunes ready for the dance floor. These tracks were played all summer and they always passed the test. Truly special illustrations by Firpo a.k.a Freschcore which symbolise two condors (two brothers) and their vision of a creature who's doing everything straight from his heart. SlapFunk Records strikes again with a solo EP by none other than Huerta. While having released a wide variety of music with a strong own identity, it’s fair to say that he fully incorporated the SlapFunk vision on this one. Even though all 5 tracks have a different character, they all share the same energetic beats specially designed for the dancefloor. This reflection is clearly the core of the artwork made by Firpo a.k.a. Freshcore. On the other hand, the graphic design by Studio Airport truly does justice to the the work of both Huerta and Firpo it deserves. Huerta his strong musical and intelligent identity, makes him one to keep an eye on closely.
