Having been a pivotal part in French uber brand Yyoaku’s obvious success, Varhat has recently announced that he will fly solo. From his releases under a multitude of monikers such as the essential HOSTOM, Axelle Stone, Boniface and of course his own artist name the Frenchman was central in pushing the much revered and respected sleek nu school Parisian minimal tech house sound. This set was recorded live at H0l0 in NYC during the ReSolute NYE 2023 Extravaganza. David Paglia warmed up the main room to kick off a 30+ hour marathon of sound. He brought out some eclectic selections in the downtempo range, then built up the energy to get the dance started. David Paglia is a well established DJ and producer based in NYC with years of experience. It was a pleasure to have him play this event, and now share it with the internet :)

“For this recording i tried, as much as i can, to tell the story of my personal music developent (since now at least). 
Starting with some etheric/organic grooves, passing through some pillars of electronic music (such as Moby, Björk or DIY) blending the whole podcast with some housy - breakbeat tunes and closing the journey with a flair of energetic vibes :) 

The entire set was inspired by the resonances of Ibiza Underground x tINI and The Gang that took place in September 2022.

Sammy Dee needs very little introduction, his 20+ years involvement with Perlon and Get Perlonized events are evidence to his legacy who is an example as such that we have as role model. 

One thing I can talk about extensively however is him as a Dj. Sammy possesses an extremely wide taste in music and a record collection that follows that,  crossing over many genres of music. His ability to adapt to day or night sets, early or late slots and so on  is incredibly precise, as seen here at Sunwaves Festival last May. He was handing over to Dragos Ilici who crossed over to Binh. Please note that this set has intro / middle and ending, a feature that should be standard to us all but surprisingly it is not, hence my emphasis on it, it is a beautiful progression and killer structure. 

Sammy was one of my first bookings for the Toi.Toi.Parties and has been a close friend ever since.  I lost my shit during this set at Sunwaves with him and when finding out it was recorded I pestered him to allow me to release it as it has been on 'repeat' ever since. 

My due respect and thankfulness to this amazing soul and artist I truly admire.
