EKATA @ UNFOLD LXX | 25.02.24

TIGERCAST stands as an engaging monthly podcast series, streaming on Fade Radio.
Its primary mission is to provide a platform for a wide-ranging spectrum of artists, each contributing to the elaborate and diverse landscape that defines the immersive realm of Electro.

ElectroDon is a resident DJ and co-owner of Mechatronica - a Berlin based record label, promoter and collective, which he founded in 2012 together with Daniel Boubet aka Daribone. Mechatronica releases music from an umbrella of artists across electro, techno, acid and more—and holds club night residencies at the grain-mill-turned-night-club, Griessmühle, in the industrial outskirts of Berlin, as well as at the nasty Basement of Sameheads in Neukölln. ElectroDon started his career as Dj in Italy playing Dubstep, Jungle and Reggae Vinyls. Meanwhile he used to visit different electronic music nights in Rom at the early 2000s, doing some experience with the music of Marco Passarani, Leo Annibaldi and Lory D. After he moved to Berlin, he founded Mechatronica as a party night and started to play as professional dj. ElectroDon’s smooth and at the same time dynamic approach to DJing blends with a decade-long passion for collecting different range of music. His sets are an energetic mix of electro, acid, EBM, techno, jack, chicago and detroit sounds, italo and disco. During the past year he played in clubs like Tresor, RSO, About Blank, Suicide Circus, Griessmühle, Raum 20 and Sameheads and more, 2025 will see ElectroDon play shows Greece, Netherland, Italy and other countries.

Umwelt Presents Ravoluson |  Episode 30

𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 @dreamdays69  is a DJ, party thrower, and producer that lives in Austin, Texas USA. They enjoy playing sets that focus on "attitude and emotion." They prefer their music and parties to be more rugged and unrefined, and they view dance music through a DIY subversive lens. They play often in Texas and are known for long marathon sets that go across genres and boundaries. In Austin they throw a monthly warehouse rave called Body Mechanics. They have been going for over four years and are going strong! 

Deep in the middle of conservative cowboy Texas, Body Mechanics provides a space of refuge for the freaks. This mix has a lot of ebm mixed with some wave, electro, synth pop, post punk, and some wildcards as well. There are also a few original Dream Days tracks (two of which are coming out this summer) and an acapella by Daniel Johnston at the end; who is an Austin hero. Pop it on your favorite speaker and be transported to a late night sleazy warehouse rave in Texas.

Kujo is the alter persona of Karl Choueiri, a multidisciplinary artist, mastering engineer, founder of Modular Mind Records and co-director of Exist Festival (Palestine) from Beirut, Lebanon.

Weaponising the usage of noise, drone, and rooted instrumentation as means of confrontation, Kujo’s uncompromising approach to music is to observe, interpret and report the current state. Expressing angst on stage, and drawing  parallels between global conflict and internal turmoil, Kujo's anti-ideological statement can be heard in their debut double gatefold album The Rebels Have No King out on Modular Mind.

CPSL is a project by Resonance team resident Masha Veretennikova. the artist has released tracks on Russian and international labels, including Clipp.art, Get Busy, Weird Nights, Resonance, Dionysian Mysteries, Deitroit Underground, and many others. Masha also frequently collaborates with Western musicians and hosts her own show on London radio station Threads.

in her live performances, Masha extracts cold, minimalist sounds from Elektron synthesizers, while her DJ sets tear the dance floor apart with her signature selection of electro and techno.

«honestly, this music completely reflects me. every time I look for some new sound, I try to find something new, softer and more musical, but I always come back to it. It seems honest and uncompromising to me, and I understand it very well. sometimes people ask me what my music or the music I play is about. i think it's about energy, not cosmic-tantric energy, but powerful, dense, intense energy that fully conveys my inner state and emotional background».

Vittorio Di Mango is an Italian DJ/producer from the class of 97 who was born in Trani, a small city in the south of Italy. Vittorio's first approach to electronic music was in 2012 when he played in little clubs in his city and those nearby. 
In 2014 he became interested in Techno music by taking part as a resident DJ in a local organization called "White XXX", which later led him to exhibit with such important artists including D. Carbone, Ascion, Wrong assessment, Dax J, PVS, Phase Fatale and Samuel Kerridge. 
His musical sets are characterized by a weaving of modern Techno with that of sounds such as acid, industrial and ebm. 
In September 2016 releases his first Ep ‘’Wrong definition’’ on Amok Tapes. In January 2017 came out his first remix ‘’Prepare to die’’ on NEN Records. On april 7 was inaugurated ‘’Epilessia’’ his first track on vinyl with I Hate Models on Khemia records.
